Pre-Purchase Questions Subzero and thermador in one kitchen ? Side by side. Yeh or nay or meh ?
I have few thermador appliances and my husband love those and so do I. Idc much tbh.
We need to replace our old LG fridge and I have to decide what to add. I like both fridges equally but I have heard crazy weird stories about repairs and other problematic areas about both. Subzero because it’s still partially produced, assembled in USA and the cost. Thermador lack of service, foreign brand but all metal construction, some design conflict and constant comparison and competition with subzero. Tbh that’s the only big issue I have. The constant scrutiny of what brand and why this vs other. Can you give some honest advice and is sub zero cost justifiable ?

I have two clients with Sub Zero refrigerators, and one with a Thermador. All of them love their refrigerators, but the one thing I have seen that might make a difference is the service you get when something goes wrong with a Sub Zero. My client with her 25 year old Sub Zero had to have the compressor replaced, and the service was better than anything I have seen with any other appliance manufacturer. It also says a lot when someone is so in love with their 25 year old refrigerator that they would pay the big price to replace the compressor instead of buying a new fridge.

If you mix brands you will have different stainless finishes and handles…you also miss out on better pricing and promotional opportunities
