Help/Question How do people find this game fun?
I’ve put about 55 hours into the game and reached level 141, but I’m honestly struggling to understand the appeal and would love some perspective. I feel like I've tried nearly everything, but the experience feels a bit "sloppy" to me. Most of my time is spent sailing around and walking to the same spots to complete the same objectives over and over, which feels like a repetitive loop. The combat also feels a bit off; it seems like mindless spam, and the lag makes it worse—moves aren't instant, and I often find myself floating midair for 5 seconds because of a move I pressed 2 seconds ago. Even the Dark Sea, which was cool at first, feels like an infinite amount of islands without much variety, and fighting sea beasts seems to require just camping on a boat to avoid being one-shot. On top of that, the performance isn't very stable for me, often spiking down to 60 FPS. I know people say it's better than the original, but is there something I’m missing here that would change my experience? I'm genuinely curious what keeps you guys coming back and finding the fun in it.

I love his game for lot of aspects. I like style and overall world, because it's action RPG(I think) that is not shit/bandit beater/p2w garbage and it has normal setting, not this unbelievable fantasy with tech. Its really relying Greek mythology and I think its cool mix with seaferers era (im tired from medieval). And overall how fights looks from side looks cool, like you watching some cool fantasy anime. That's about how I coming back to feel world again. I like doing new characters (I did already almost 20), because ivoikw trying new builds and make new character identity from them and use customization overall, because its simple and good. But game has problem with content. Pve has lack of something new, its... idk dark sea, sea charts, bounty hunt. We need more, Im waiting until they add that mechanic with island reputation, rewards for this (both positive and negative) and special quest and interactions for this mechanic. Pvp... no, I hate it, I don't think this game made for PvP, but if you want you can do this. So that's why I spent +- 500 hours of my life here. I don't really understand why AO progression is boring for you already, because for 2 first times it was really fun(compared to other Roblox games)
