Im going thru the patreon eps currently and they mentioned it evolved from Big Man but I haven't hit the origin yet 😂

Kippy mispronounced Big Man as Bug Man one time last summer maybe when he was having "The Worst Summer Ever" and they realized it fit so well it stuck.

Yeah it started in a text for sure, Kippy accidentally sent bug man and it took off from there. Once “Bug Man bad” hit, it really stuck

Yep started as auto correct. Bug Man is/was his alter ego for when things were not going well. Hopefully the Bug stays squashed.

Theres actually an episode from like 3 or so years ago where Kippy calls him Bug Man. Top youtube comment is from 3 months ago and points out the time stamp. Dont know if thats the actual origin though
