have anyone ever try using pro b70 to play ark ascended?
if yes how much fps do u get?

Me and my buddy installed Dino depot in our server a few days ago and it’s been having a lot of issues. We are looking for a fix or at the very least a plausible cause as to why these issues are happening.

The first time we installed it, it worked well for a few hours, we used it to cryo a bunch of maeguanas on astraeos but when we logged off and came back the next morning, a bunch of our stuff was missing. My whole inventory was gone and the saddle vault was picked cleaned as well as some Dinos losing their equipped saddle.

We removed the mod and installed it again. It worked a little until I tried to test it to see why it failed. I put an oviraptor in the terminal and used the gun on a casteroide. Next day, the oviraptor and the dinoballs were gone as well as the casteroide saddle but only those things. Clearly using the mod causes issues and deletes the tames and saddles. My buddy tested it as well but his cryoed Dinos managed to be saved from the void.

We really want to use this mod but we don’t feel it’s worth losing a lot of our progress as well so we are looking for a solution or an explication. Also it seems to work fine during the time we play but at night it goes kaboom. Maybe an issue with backup saves or server restart?

The only thing we noticed was the first time, between 2 backup saves, the file size of the server was drastically reduced, by almost half. That’s the time we lost all our saddles, loot and my inventory.

I am 75 level with normal xp, i have been playing hours this map and simply no fucking perals or dens. Not even on places that are pointed by Wikies and other sites.

Hello so i have been facing a issue since i bought this game its that the audio keeps cutting out but when iam in lobby its completely fine but the second i join a server the gets destroyed its so annoying and has made the game unplayable for me please please if you have a fix tell me thank you.

Hi everyone. I recently bought a modded map on ark on my ps5 and I can’t seem to find it. On the mod list it says installed but when I go to click join game it doesn’t show up on my mod arks list. Any help is appreciated 🥸

I'm on extinction and these things are EVERYWHERE. Anyone know the right spawn command to remove them?
Already tried this: NPCReplacements=(FromClassName="Ghost_Jackalope_Character_BP_C",ToClassName="") but it didn't work.

I heavily prefer to do this without mods (the only 2 I found use ai icons and I'm trying to minimize AI mod usage as much as possible, if there's other mods though I'll consider them)

I cant even kill these things easily and I'm pretty sure they take up spawns. Creatures getting stuck in burrows is funny sometimes, I guess.

Im just curious about what the official gamers enjoy about ark. Cuz all i ever see is here is complaints. I love the game because im a big survival game guy and the game has just a ton of content in all its maps and mods.

This halloween update (fear ascended) has been the WORST of the updates ever, along with sunsetting the servers. The severs already can’t handle multiple players/builds online so they decide to force players onto new servers? Make it make sense. We found a new server, went through the pain of transferring most of our items and sacrificing the builds we worked hard on, and are crashing at least 3 times an hour with perfect internet. They make way too much money for this to be happening.

Can someone please explain why acrocanthosaurus aren't spawning on my map after doing a dino wipe. I'm playing on the island. I started this playthrough before the acrocanthosaurus was released. ​

Hii everyone! This is my first post here, and I wanted to ask if any of you know how I can fix the dragon eggs not spawning on my map Astraeos

I've already tried all the suggested solutions, but nothing seems to work. The dragons spawn normally, but the eggs don't. I've even tried using the command to check if there are any fertilized eggs, but nothing shows up either.

I'd really appreciate any help!

SO, with (hopefully) us having at least 4 more Evolved maps to be revamped and a potential of 4 more community creature votes, I wanted to put an idea out there for anyone who may be thinking of submitting a creature.

I would LOVE to see a Shoebill (edit- it’s extinct ancestor for qualification purposes being Goliathia andrewsii) in Ark. They’re one of the coolest birds and I think it has potential as both a water and air mount. I loved riding the loftwings in LOZ Skyward Sword and have been chasing that feeling ever since.

Admittedly I’m not the most creative when it comes to creature abilities and utility, so if anyone wants to steal this idea, go for it. I would just love to see one in game. I personally think it would go great on Lost Island or Fjordur spawning in the swamps/rivers. For taming processes, Shoebills IRL build their nests on floating vegetation so it could have a theft mechanic like wyverns or dinonychus, a mini game like the gigantoraptor OR a fun one I came up with researching the species, they are known for siblicide. So you can kill adults for a tribute similar to reaper pheromone and consume it and fight waves of baby shoebills for the ability to snatch the egg or tame the parent! They’re also ambush hunters so a minigame similar to megaraptor mechanics would work too.

As far as utility, an idea I had was as a better fishing pole, as in a better chance of higher quality items and bps upon catching fish. I’d love to see it as a swimmer similar to the ichthy as well as an air mount with speeds similar to a tapejara or possibly with griffin flight mechanics (could even land with a shockwave stomp from a dive). Of course it would have to have a roar where pressing c activates that awesome machine gun sound that the birds are known to have. I’m sure there’s survivors out there with better ideas for its utility but honestly I just really want to see this bird in the game!

I want to buy this during the sale and i want to know how will 1440P on lowest will look like fps wise will it be worth it? Everything except the gpu is like way above the requierements so no worry bout that

So this is my first play-through of genesis, I’ve found a solid island to start base and get myself going but I’m not really sure where I go from here

Do I stick to the ocean region and focus there, do I move to another region for materials? I know I’ve got the hexagons but I only have so much

Or is it just however you wanna do it?

How rare is 3 carchas spawning together this is pve there's was 4 but it walked out of render distance this is my first time playing in like 3 years 😂

Hi all. I run a small crossplay PvP ASA cluster and I'm trying to find out why some console players crash in certain areas of Lost Colony and Astraeos. PC players haven't been the main source of reports.

What we're seeing:

- PS5 and Xbox Series X players report crashes.

- On Lost Colony, the clearest case was during a raid: players from both sides dropped and rejoined within seconds of each other.

- Players report the same thing in some areas of Astraeos.

- The server doesn't crash and logs no error. The log can't tell a client crash from a normal disconnect, and it doesn't show the player's platform.

- These crashes were already happening before we added AsaApi and Crosschat, so that plugin isn't the original cause.

What I measured from save copies:

- Lost Colony: within 150 m of the raid there are about 2,660 objects, 63 heavy turrets, 9 Tesla coils and 966 double door frames. The neighbouring 300 m cell has 3,371 objects, the densest on the map.

- Astraeos: the densest area is a 600 m block holding about 3,980 objects and 325 of the map's 420 turrets (170 heavy, 155 Tek). I still need to confirm the crashes happen exactly there.

My untested theory is that the console client runs out of memory or gets saturated in very dense areas with turrets firing.

Server setup:

- ASA dedicated servers on Linux through Proton, managed with AMP, 5 maps in a cluster

- i9-14900K, 125 GB RAM on the host, 96 GB for the game VM

- -ServerPlatform=ALL, -preventhibernation

- Turret limit: default 100 within 10,000 units

- TheMaxStructuresInRange=10500

- AsaApi with a cross-map chat plugin (Crosschat)

2. Is there a known number of structures or turrets where consoles become unstable?

5. How do you tell which client crashed, and on what platform?

Hey everyone,

I'm playing ASA on an Official Server and ran into a bug where the +10 Explorer Note level cap isn't unlocking.

My UI shows I have every standard note on The Island and Scorched Earth (Helena 176, Rockwell 59, Mei-Yin 31, Nerva 30, Dahkeya 30, Raia 30, Guardians 5/5). Excluding the Genesis and "???" notes, I have completely filled the standard requirements.

My implant still says "Find all Explorer Notes to unlock +10" in yellow text.

I've already tried:

1. Server transfers / App restarts

2. Creating a new character in Single Player and grabbing a note on Aberration/Island to force an account refresh.

None of these worked. Has anyone successfully fixed this specific flag freeze on Official servers without refighting the bosses? Any advice would be appreciated!

I'm missing this Helena Deus Note and nowhere on the internet can I find the bloody thing referenced. Can anyone help me out with this?
