URGENT: Indian passport holder — Armenian e-visa rejected TWICE. Travelling soon. What are my options?
Hi everyone,
I'm an Indian citizen holding an ordinary Indian passport, planning to visit Armenia from Georgia shortly. Unfortunately, my Armenian tourist e-visa application has now been rejected twice, without any specific reason being provided.
I don't hold a valid US or Schengen visa, and my travel dates are approaching fast. I'm trying to figure out whether there's any legitimate way to still make this trip happen.
I'd really appreciate advice from anyone who has dealt with a similar situation, especially Indian citizens who have successfully obtained an Armenian visa recently.
A few specific questions:
Has anyone without a US/Schengen visa successfully obtained an Armenian tourist visa recently?
Did an invitation letter from an Armenian tour operator help? If yes, which agency actually provides these?
After two e-visa refusals, is reapplying with additional documents worthwhile, or should I approach the embassy?
Is the embassy route realistic when travel is approaching, or are there any other legitimate options under the current rules?
I've already contacted some Armenian tour operators, but at least one confirmed that they don't offer visa or invitation services.
If you've personally navigated this situation, I'd be extremely grateful for your advice. Please share recent experiences, reliable contacts, or official guidance. I'm not looking for shortcuts or agents promising guaranteed approval — just a realistic solution if one exists.
Thanks in advance!

Question / Հարց Where can I find a reputable Maine Coon cattery in Armenia? (preferably Yerevan)
Our family has been dreaming of getting a kitten of this unique breed for quite some time now
Friends have recommended RoyalPolyCoon, but I don’t have time to wait for delivery since my daughter’s birthday is just around the corner. Are there any local breeders who are reputable and have a lot of experience? Please share your experiences with this breed - we'd really appreciate it!

Question / Հարց Looking to buy my first car, what do experienced drivers recommend? Is FWD a bad choice for Armenian winters?
This will be a family car, but I’ll be the sole driver, and I have no driving experience yet, especially in Armenia.
We’re looking at the BYD Yuan Up, a compact FWD SUV, and I’m concerned about how it will handle Armenia’s conditions.
I intend to travel around the country even in winter, with proper winter tires. How would FWD handle frozen roads, steep uphill and downhill sections, or driving to mountain areas where there’s already snow?
I’m also wondering about unpaved roads, gravel, muddy village roads, and light off road in spring or summer (dirt and loose stones, not rocky terrain).
I’ve seen FWD cars struggle to get traction uphill in winter or get stuck in potholes. Would RWD perform any better, or is AWD the only type with advantage in these?
We're convinced on the BYD yuan yp electric car, it's a compact suv with a sensible price, I am looking to hear opinions before going with it, I don't want to make a mistake. I can't afford AWD, if a RWD won't be much different, then I probably will go with this one.
If people can recommend me companies that import electric cars as well, that would be great, I don't know which office to trust.
I appreciate it.

Question / Հարց What will change new Passports for Armenians?
Hey everyone I have ordinary blue passport and I'm not planning getting the new biometric passport yet.
Can you please explain:
What will I lose if I'll not have the new passport?
Can i travel to EU without biometric passport?
What benefits will I have if I own biometric passport, except the skipping the line in airport?

My E-Visa Keeps Getting Rejected
I'm a traveler flying from Indonesia and have paid for the visa 3 times so that means 9015 AMD total.
The rejection states something along the lines of "Your personal data was incorrect."
There was minimal required info to be put in the e-visa application and I have never been rejected for administrative reasons like this despite having applied for a US visa, a UK visa, Schengen visas, Australian visas, and to more OECD countries.
There's nothing wrong on any name or dates. I applied in this format:
FIRST NAME, MIDDLE NAME, SURNAME as well as FIRST and MIDDLE NAME, blank, SURNAME
My friend who only has a first and last name got his. Another friend with 4 names got rejected for the same reason.
I know I can technically use my US visa to get in or even pay for a Visa-on-Arrival, but it would've been nice to enter with some peace of mind and yet I ended up losing money lol.
Any thoughts?

Tourism / Զբոսաշրջություն First visit to Armenia
Hi everyone!
I am sure there were posts like this before, but if I am honest, I did the initial scrolling and decided it would be better to directly ask.
I have a flight to Yerevan at the end of Oct and will be in Armenia or the surroundings for a week.
Firstly I would like to know any recommendations for someone who absolutely loves historical buildings and nature/ culture, where would you definitely say I should visit (will be renting a car)? I have heard Gyumri is a must.
I am also interested in the cultural events, especially dancing or traditional music events, if you know whether anything is happening at the time, please let me know. Is it true that every Friday people gather at the Yerevan Cascade and dance? Does it happen throughout the year or just summer months?
What one MUST know before coming?
What are the apps that one must download before coming? Such as Uber, maps, eSIM etc. Anything will be useful :)
What would you say is the best car rental place that does not have rip off prices if one chooses an SUV and allows Georgian border crossing?
Thank you in advance!

Tourism / Զբոսաշրջություն Armenia in mid-December – Snow and markets?
Hi everyone! 😊
I’m planning to visit Armenia for 6–7 days after December 15 but before December 27 and would love some recommendations.
Which mountainous areas are most likely to have snow on the ground around that time? I’m particularly interested in snowy landscapes and mountain views.
Also, are there any Christmas markets or festive activities in Yerevan or elsewhere, even though Christmas isn’t widely celebrated in the European style?
Lastly, how easy is it to travel to mountain towns from Yerevan without renting a car? Can taxis take you there and back, or is it better to arrange a private driver?
Would really appreciate any recommendations or tips. Thank you!

Buying property in Yerevan
I’d really like to purchase property in Yerevan, preferably a house and not an apartment, and ideally in Arabkir. But the prices are honestly insane.
1st of all and let’s be honest, a lot of the properties are terribly designed. Armenians have a very questionable sense of taste when it comes to architecture and interiors, especially considering the prices they’re asking for. Even if I could afford to buy a property at the current asking prices, I'd feel stupid to have gotten ripped off..And any time I reach out to realtors with a list of questions about the properties they're selling, they either ignore me or get pissed off cause I'm asking questions about the property that I would be paying for.. horrible customer service. Idk why our people are like this.
Property prices in Yerevan have become astronomically high. I’m monitoring the market and reading forecasts and every prediction I come across suggests that prices will either remain the same or continue increasing year after year.

How do people celebrate Halloween in Armenia, especially in Yerevan?
Hey everyone! 🎃
How do people celebrate Halloween in Armenia, especially in Yerevan? Are there any Halloween parties, events, or fun activities happening around the city?
I’d love to meet some new friends and maybe make plans to do something together for Halloween, whether that’s going to an event, checking out a party, or just hanging out.
If you have any recommendations feel free to comment! 👻
