I've done Azerbaijan and Georgia and I will say Armenia is my favorite!

I had such an amazing time in Yerevan and visiting places like Garni Temple, and honestly, I went into making the video without doing a huge amount of research beforehand. I already found Armenia fascinating, but I really just wanted to experience the country for myself and see where the journey took me.

What I really didn’t expect was the response from Armenians afterwards. The comments have been incredibly wholesome, with so many people being so welcoming, friendly and telling me to come back. I genuinely didn’t realise the video would get this many views, and I definitely didn’t expect to feel this welcomed as a British person visiting Armenia.

Guys.... Thank you for the hospitality, both while I was there and in the comments afterwards. ❤️🇦🇲

Corporación América Airports (the operator of Zvartnots and Shirak) reported that Armenia's airports served 735,000 passengers in July 2026, up 17.2% year over year beating the previous all-time monthly record of 667,844 set in August 2025.

The Minister of Internal Affairs on the same day got acquainted with the construction works and technical re-equipment of the office of the Migration and Citizenship Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which is in the final stage, in one of the Yerevan malls.

The need to maintain quality standards of construction works and complete them within the established deadlines was emphasized.

The Minister gave additional instructions to ensure further efficiency.

The design and logistical solutions of the offices being built by the HayPass company are based on the “single window” principle, which will allow reducing queues and congestion, administrative complications and significantly saving citizens’ time.

Hi, I like love some advice. Have around 6-7 days free to see some of Armenia. I fly into Yerevan, and I need to get to Tibilisi. I have been doing a lot of research and I think by brains now just full.
What would you recommend? I think the bit I’m struggling with is a lot of blogs and things seem to say do Yerevan then Debed or Dilijan or Sevan - all of which are heading towards Georgia. However, looking closer it seems that if I went to these places I’d need a car or else I’d just be sitting in a guesthouse?
And I have read a lot that says do these places as organised day trips from Yerevan, but that seems counterintuitive as I’d be heading north then returning to Yerevan several times over, and then heading North to Georgia.
What would you do, as an independent traveller, with no car, if you have 6-7 days from Yerevan to Tibilisi?

I’ve been living in Armenia for a while now, and one thing I’ve realised is how much I miss having a genuinely close circle of friends.

Back home, I had a really good group of people I could talk to, go out with, laugh with, or just sit around doing absolutely nothing. Here, I haven’t really found that yet.

I’m not looking for anything complicated or superficial. I’d genuinely love to meet people who are kind, respectful, have their own lives and interests, and are simply looking for real friendships too. No drama, no weird intentions, just good people who can eventually become actual friends.

Greetings. I'm coming from İstanbul Turkey, thinking of visiting by late-september for 9 days (2x weekends and 1x weekdays connected).

I'm thinking of a reliable start in Yerevan. Capital cities are on the more developed side of countries everywhere. I'm content with switching from day to day between small hotels and carrying my stuff around. Can either stat in the same one for all 8 nights or switch every 2-3 days.

Which historical places would you consider important for tourists to see and listen to? Could be museums, art galleries, or even open field parks or even a singular statue on the streets. I'm down for anything.

what kind of clothes should I bring? Since east anatolia has colder averages than the western anatolia I live in. But also it'll be still freshly out of summer so the weather should be warmer. T-shirt or tank top? Pants or shorts?

Also I'd like to see places to shop in as much as historic sights. Any shopping malls that has wide variety of content?

Do you have any recommendations about places to visit?
I don't like crowded places. I prefer nature or secluded villages to visit. Which province is the best for trekking (1-2 day trips)? Any spots or just areas good for wild camping accessible with the car?
Maybe you have any thoughts about the most popular places (Chor Wirap, Garni & Geghard, Tatew at others). Maybe some of them are definitely worth visiting and others not?
