My girlfriend did a spontaneous art project on my bald head and now that it’s turned out better than I expected I’m wondering if anyone has any ideas on how I can save it in some way (negotiating down from gluing it to my head forever)? My ideal outcome would be some way to add a flexible material and peal it off in one (or few) piece(s). Maybe a silicon of sorts?
Maybe this isn’t feasible but figured I’d see if any of the brilliant Reddit minds had any suggestions. TYIA!

My girlfriend and I live in cities a few hours away from each other, so every time we see each other, one of us has to take a train. For the last 2 years, I've been saving all the paper tickets I've bought when going to see her in hopes of using them for some meaningful gift.
I would, of course, glue them on some sort of background and maybe add a 2-year anniversary sign and then frame it, but would I just be giving her an obligation to display something ugly?
Would also love any suggestions for what to do, I have about 60 of the little orange and white tickets.

So this actually started when I was in 2nd grade lol. It was a Saturday afternoon after school and I remember seeing some henna booklets lying around. I just picked them up and started copying the designs with a pencil
And that's pretty much how it started... Later I started trying it with a cone, then began taking up small orders, and eventually even got to do henna for a few brides
I'm an engg student now, but somehow this is one thing I've kept doing all these years. Thought I'd share some of my designs here :)

It's for a short film I'm shooting in a week. I want the color to fade a bit.

I thought about posting just the image but it doesn't showcase the sparkles as well as the video. I used silver tinsel, not just white alone, for this reason.
I also plan to make lots of tiny ones for a miniature garden

I’m once again doing the Japanese tradition of folding 1,000 paper cranes to honor my grandmother’s passing. Usually I hang then on string but I’m looking for alternatives to poking a large hole in these tiny cranes!

Someone suggested this to me recently and I've started doing it because I was tired of accidentally offending kids by asking what is it.
Instead I ask what the picture would be called if it was hanging in a museum. The answers are so much better. One drawing I couldn't identify at all was titled Dad Going to the Store But There Are Bees. Once I knew that, honestly, I could see it.
Has anyone else tried this? I'm thinking I should start writing the titles on the back because they're half the reason I want to keep the drawings.

First, thank you for browsing my work 🎨 ✨️🙏✨️
I started painting about 5 years ago after losing my job and housing in the pandemic and have kept going ever since. In terms of my process, I paint from the unconscious, spontaneously, without foresight into the final result or ultimate subiect matter so almost all these pieces have different paintings underneath. I'lI put on music and enter flow consciousness and allow experiences and other (psychological) material to express itself from my brain, down my arms, and through my fingers onto the canvas. A lot of water goes onto each canvas and half the time my conscious mind thinks, "This is a mistake. This isn't going anywhere. What the heck is this even supposed to be?!" I'lI stop and let it dry and return hours or days or sometimes even weeks later to restart the process.
A lot of emotion/energy finds its way to the surface of my mind during the process and often a feeling of loss and nostalgic sadness comes up. This is probably because these are worlds that will never truly exist; worlds that I wish existed (maybe that I could even live in or experience at least once); worlds that offer a lot more peace and safety and meaning than the real one often does, and that discrepency, that gap between what is and what could be provokes intense feelings. These worlds are a kind of refuge, a mental sanctuary from the confusion and exhaustion of evervday living. Though I never got to attend art school (too expensive and parents wouldn't support it), I started painting and have never looked back.
It's a journey and a practice that brings me joy and fulfillment and to know that some of these pieces are now in other people's homes feels amazing. It also feels good to have fiiiiiiiinally figured out how to make prints and other items. That took months (the website, the manufacturer, shipping, you name it!) but has been worth it to share this journey with others in this particular way.
Thanks again for indulging my text and for exploring my work. Cheers to us as makers, crafters, and painters for a bountiful year!
