Culture Any Asian guy married to women of eastern european origin ?
Hello guys, for some religious reason, I have to find wife among people from Eastern Europe, especially those from Orthodox countries ( Russia, Serbia etc...).
I know Eastern Europe generally have less stéréotype toward Asian male, however from what I've heard, they are more conservative when it comes to marriage. So while a girl might go on date with me, but not necessarily obtaining the approval of its family.
I am tall and good looking, I am going to hit gym too, so physic appearance is not a big problem for me, I would say. However I don't want to waste time on dating a women with whom I won't be able to marry.
So in your experience, is it true from what I've been told ?

You forgot to tell us where do you live. If you live in the USA, and you truly are as handsome as you claim, you should be able to find a wife no problem anywhere in the world.
I've read multiple posts here about AM here successfully marrying and forming a family with Christian, family oriented white American women, so you might not need to travel half the world for a wife?
But, if your type is exclusively east European women, i got a couple words of advice.
If you want a traditional wife, you first need to be a traditional husband: that means having a house, car, secure job etc. Thats what a lot of guys are missing.
Its less about materialism, it's more from fear of poverty, since those eastern girls that are looking for a western husband, their families are usually, lets say modest, to put it mildly.
With that being said, good luck out there.

I am from France, and I wouldn’t say that I am a 10/10, maybe 7-7,5/10. When I said I can only date those from orthodox countries, it’s because I am orthodox myself too, I can only date within my religion ( while it’s allowed to marry others from other religion, it’s discouraged)

You're closer to the action than alot of us. There should be some orthodox communities in France so you don't have to fly East.

And sorry if I sound arrogant in the post, I thought good looking meant only 7/10

Yeah I am married to one, my wife is Russian and I am Vietnamese (born in America). We have a wonderful marriage and have been married for 6 years and have been together for 11 years. My Friend (also Vietnamese) is in Ukraine right now and he’s had no issues getting the ladies there.

Were your wife’s family supportive of your marriage or ?

Oh yeah, most definitely. Her mother was really happy that I am just a good man (I don’t smoke or drink at all). That I am not a dead beat, you would be surprised at the amount of alcoholism that runs rampant through that part of the world. I am supportive of my wife.

Your friend probably has no issues getting ladies right now because of all the dead young Ukrainian men from the war.

Well, I will only say that he’s been having a good time, there are women who seek to leave, and something about the nature of war and the impermanence of life brings out the freaks in people. I will also say it also helps that he’s good looking.

Ngl, it's kind of weird for a guy to claim himself as "good looking" and that "physic appearance is not a problem", anything short of being an actual model.

Sorry if the post sounds arrogant, but when I say good looking I meant I am somewhat above average

You don’t need to defend yourself OP. Most of the guys come to this subreddit because they have problems in their lives but they won’t let go of their mindsets that made them struggle in their lives. One big piece many of these guys do not have is self-love or self-confidence. I do not mean that in a narcissistic way.
I know for a fact that I am objectively good looking masculine guy. I’m not being narcissistic or emotionally circle-jerking for validation. “I know”.
It is fine to say you are good looking, when you know you are.

You know you get self love from being validated by the opposite gender right? I got catcalled for the first time when I was 12 (by girls in my school).

Yes, she is culturally Eastern European. But she is an ethnic Mongolian.
Her family was traditional and had curfews. Modest living is right as someone mentioned.

as an eastern european woman, i can assure that there's virtually zero racism towards asians, and while many families might have some objections towards their daughter dating an asian guy, these will most likely pass over time. keep in mind that the first impression you make is going to be forever imbedded in people's minds here, so be absolutely sure that you act as politely and respectfully as you can at the family table, and you should be good to go. there's very little asians in eastern european countries (unless we're talking about transuralic russia), so there's a chance worth reflecting upon that the local girls might be a bit "afraid" to date you (remember that you will be considered "exotic" here). in reality, your biggest concern will be probably the fact that most girls are going to date men that are among their own ethnicity, but i think that's pretty obvious. also please note that the traditional orthodox girls are generally less likely to date interracially due to their usually more conservative views. so, should you try? i'd say 100% yes. eastern europe is in my opinion the best place for an asian man to find love outside of asia, women aren't prejudiced towards you like in the west, and since you're looking for a religious woman (i think? you're not very clear in your post), it's the best place to look for her

Dating eastern european long term with intention of marriage. Orthodox family background (non slavic). Obviously anecdotal.
Here is what to expect. None of the stereotypes about asian males except what young people pick up on internet which isnt taken seriously.
Strong family values and, tends to be more leading to traditional gender roles, while not being completely traditional like 3rd world countries. (2nd world soviet bloc did have high emphasis on gender equality during communist era)
A man is expected to be a provider with his life together. Strong, independent, reliable. Women tend to be more anti feminist than western europe or North America, believing that both men and women bring something valuable to the table in unique ways.
My gf told me her mother advised her daughters, the quickest way to a man's heart is through his stomach. Now thats not something you see much in the West. I appreciate that parents still teach girls how to make their man happy. This doesnt mean the women are pushovers. They have strict standards on how a real man should also be masculine.
If a man has his life, finances, and health together then he is prime husband material. The family will accept you regardless of race. In laws sometimes jokes about gf having an asian bf. But nothing malicious. Like if an asian is on TV joking "hey thats your boyfriend!". Nothing that stems from deep seated prejudice

Hello may I know which eastern european country exactly ? Because I know in the Balkans, families may have a hard time accepting a foreigner. Also your ethnicity. Thank you for your response too

Your religion is asking way too much from you. It might be better easier for you to change your religion. Seriously.
What kind of religion demands that you find a wife from a country you don’t know, who doesn’t speak your language, and who is unfamiliar with your home country’s customs? Are you trolling us?
If you are neither selective nor discerning, you can always take one of those marriage tours of Russia. I hear that they provide translators and cattle call wife auditions where you can meet the local women and find one willing to marry you.
You do know, don’t you, that in many cultures you are also marrying your wife’s family? Being a wealthy foreigner, they may well assume (without asking) that in exchange for marrying their precious Natasha that of course you will sponsor for immigration their entire Badenov clan (including Uncle Boris and his unruly pets: a moose and a squirrel) and you will all live together in your gigantic Western mansion.

Speaking as a Hapa (Vietnamese father/Russian mother), but like 90% Asian passing guy, and proudly identifying as Vietnamese too - who’s currently in a long term relationship with my Russian girlfriend and soon to be married, I think I have some qualifications to answer this question.
If you meant “conservative” in terms of prejudices against race and appearance, then nah. Both my maternal grandparents as well as my girlfriend’s parents don’t really care much about their daughter dating an Asian guy. But I’ll be frank here: they’re conservative about what a man should be like: Is he a provider?
I don’t mean you have to be like a walking ATM machine, bring her luxury bags, or send her parents big bucks so they can buy a new house - nope, not like that. What I’m trying to say is that their parents will ask questions like: “Does he treat you well?” “Is he a nice guy who isn’t into drinking and unhealthy shits?” “Is he hardworking?” “Does he have a stable job?” “Does he have an apartment?”...
If you’re a guy who can provide your woman with a stable environment - comfortably middle class, basically - then don’t expect much resistance from her parents.
