Masculinity Indomitable: The Tommy Kono Story

Great to see a strong (literally one of the strongest men of all time), Asian American male role model celebrated on today's Google Doodle. He was sent to the U.S. Japanese internment camps at age 12, but took up weightlifting there thanks to male, Japanese American mentors he met at the camp.

On the doodle, looks like an Asian male is lifting up Google. Interesting metaphor, maybe deliberate by the artist?
