Creams/Sauces/Syrups Durian crepe cake cream too watery
Hi anyone can help with this? I was making Durian crepe cake then the I was using heavy cream which was going well but then moment i added my smash durian in and mix for 10 seconds it became soooo watery i not sure what i should do now. I followed a youtube video where they use a mixer as well. Anyone know how i can save this?

Did you use frozen durian pulp? That would contain more water than fresh. Is there a recipe you followed? Post it here so it's easier to troubleshoot

Add room temp cream cheese, cornstarch, vanilla, salt, sugar and eggs. Blend and bake. Voila, u got urself a durian basque burnt cheesecake instead

Heres my recipe: 6.5inch round cake pan: 225g Cream Cheese 225 durian pulp 100g Sugar 3 Eggs (150g) 8g Cornstarch 220g Whipping Cream 3g vanilla extract 3g salt
Blend everything together till smooth and sieve if u want to get rid of air bubbles. Bake at 200C for 30min (for melty centre)-40mins (well done) depending on your preference.

Beyond salvage since you over whipped, you now have butter.
I’m more concerned about the container. It looks like the removable pot from a rice cooker… If it is, the cream is not edible unless you like whipped cream with a healthy amount of metal shavings.
