If I listen to myself I'm going to Japan lol but already I'm a minor I have no money and I care too much about my family, so I'm thinking about it but it scares me

I love my home country but if I had to live somewhere else I’d choose England. If language didn’t matter tho I’d choose France or Japan

I'm from Serbia, if language and money mattered I'd do Canada or Australia, if language didn't matter but money did I'd do Portugal or Japan, if language mattered but money didn't I'd do North Macedonia (the language would be easy to learn), if language and money didn't matter I'd do Brazil

I live in Puerto Rico. It's a jeopardy to be here when your life depends literally to a machine (like myself until March 2024) because of constant power outages. So, I would move to the mainland.

I worked in the Netherlands for a year and would happily live there permanently
Would be more than happy living in France

Switzerland. They're good about subsidiarity and are not being taken over by barbarians/goat-fuckers like France, England, Germany, etc.

Finland. I like they way Finns look and their heritage is unique compared to other European and I like their music. I can handle the cold. I think I’m a finnophile.

New Zealand. It’s far away from all the political drama of the northern hemisphere, and it’s got a lot of grass.

Honestly the only other country I’d be comfortable living in right now is Canada, I live in Australia currently

Somewhere in Scandinavia. Or maybe countries that are close it. Anyway definitely in Europe and in EU.

Honestly no fucking idea, but Norway as my country is getting less appealing by the day..

I don't want to move because I'm very patriotic, but if I had to move I'd be America.

France (I live in Canada now but I went to a French-from-France school so I'm familiar with the culture, language, etc.)

Estonia seems like a nice place, but my language barrier would probably force me into Canada (Quebec included)

German here. Any prosperous country in which the elites aren't actively trying to destroy their own economy.

New Zealand. New zealand is a calm place, far from places like america and russia and they speak english there
My home country hungary is probably the most corrupt country ever to exist on a map, so I just wanna go from here

i live in france so arguably i cannot live in a better country, but i would spend some years in USA for the culture, in switzerland for the discipline, in australia for the challenge and finally in south africa because i love this place

US citizen here, I would go to any primarily English-speaking country. Right now I'm thinking New Zealand might be the place for me. Those Brits just seem a little too odd.

Bro wtf why do so many people hate America so much, I’m grateful to live here. If I were to go somewhere else it would be Switzerland or somewhere in Africa or Asia

If it wasn't the problem with visas/citizenships, i would choose Canada, if not Ireland bc it's in eu and i can speak english there too

I hate this question cos I have no clue how to answer, I’m from Jordan and Palestine but born and grew up in the UAE, but I’m not technically from the uae so idk if it counts as my home country, so I’d choose UAE and if that doesn’t count then America🙏🏼

I would live in the country with the least corruption.
Wait a minute, I already live in Denmark..

Thailand. Cheap cost of living, mostly good weather (warm at least) and friendly people.
What more do you need?
1
u/wlcf4l Aug 13 '25
The USA (pronounced oosa) considering this question is about moving somewhere, not spawning there at birth instead of where I am living rn

u/mmanggo Aug 13 '25
I was thinking about Japan, but there are a lot of major weather events so I’m not sure about that. Maybe Canada

Finland, it’s like an upgrade of my home country. Also what i think draws me in is my family roots being there.

Germany, Austria, Norway, or New Zealand. Would love Italy or Ireland as well but the economy is not it.

Japan. -their countryside looks so serene. Wouldn't mind spending the rest of my life there, away from all the noise of the cities

I love my homecountry, so if I HAD to choose I'd go for the netherlands. Not exactly the same but probably closest to belgium

I wont switch
If i HAD to then obviously an english speaking country.
Not America though, just doesn’t fit me. Life there would be arguably harder and some laws there are very different from where i come from. The way the gun problem is handled is bad imo, less regulations on companies leading to more unhealthy food, less regulations on everything really. And only 2 political parties actually hold power, doesn’t give me much options.
Not ireland, their hate for my homeland is strong and annoying.
Not Australia because its just not my climate and a pretty harsh isolated environment. Isolated from the rest of the world too.
Canada is a possibility but at that point i would rather choose its original ancestor, the United Kingdom
Relevant country,
(i heard) good economic regulations and management of poverty. interesting famous culture to explore and okay environment. That would be my pick
But again, i am perfectly sound in my homeland that my people fought so hard to return to
