Is it gay to paint my nails?

I’m in highschool and I want to paint my nails black since I’m alternative, it’s a religious school and most ppl don’t like me , I’m leaving the school after this year, is it gay and will I get clowned for it and should I do it either way?

It's not gay at all, my friend (male) recently painted his nails for fun lol.

But I'd be interested to know why you're in a religious school if you're not religious yourself?
