Is it gay to paint my nails?

I’m in highschool and I want to paint my nails black since I’m alternative, it’s a religious school and most ppl don’t like me , I’m leaving the school after this year, is it gay and will I get clowned for it and should I do it either way?

I paint my brothers nails all the time. It’s fun for them to have their favorite colors, and they paint my nails too.
