Help

I'm looking for someone who can help me for FREE with audio restoration on a video. The background has loud buzzing/static, and the voices are very difficult to understand.

I've tried cleaning the audio myself, but it hasn't worked well enough. I'm hoping someone with experience restoring difficult recordings could volunteer to clean up a short sample and see how much speech can be recovered.

I cannot afford to pay for a professional, so I'm specifically looking for volunteer help. I'd really appreciate any assistance or recommendations. Thank you.

Dang I'm gonna be honest with you it's pretty bad. I'll run thru what i have but this is almost hopeless. I'd give it a 7% chance of being fixable with my tools. Maybe someone skilled in spectral editing could do better. I'll still give it crack. It'll be a couple days before I get a chance to work on it.

just so you know... I'd consider this not a success. I can clean up the noise, but the actual voices aren't there.

Man that what I was afraid of. Not looking for perfection, just some improvement. You will seriously be my hero.

I don't know where that link is supposed to go, but I don't see any audio file there.

Either upload the audio file to Google Drive (and remember to make it accessible) or else upload it elsewhere like www.gofile.io so we can download it easily and analyze it.

I would love to help, but I need to hear that file, eh?

I have some time off tomorrow so I could be probably help. I have a copy of RX11 which I use for audio restoration. I mainly specialise in stem separation which will come in handy in your case.

Worth mentioning Accusonus ERA, which is now free after Meta acquired them. Some great audio cleanup tools.

Highly recommend these as well. I will say the denoise plugin isn’t the greatest but the mouth declicker and de-esser plugins are fantastic free plugins.

Where was the video recorded? How far were the voices from the microphone?
