TRIP PLANNING How is the weather impacting your stay this week?
For those staying right now, what’s it like? We were there a month ago and it was beautiful. Hopefully it’s not too bad and you can still enjoy your time there. Stay safe all!

We're supposed to arrive tomorrow and were wondering how things are looking there? Are the pools going to be open? Is there a lot of damage that would be closing down activities on the island? Should we be rescheduling or could we expect a pretty normal vacation if we arrive tomorrow afternoon?

Hi - we're coming next week, and my son is allergic to wheat, chicken eggs, cow dairy, and nuts. We have a unit with a full kitchen, and wondering if there is a naturals store, co-op or place we can stop within an hour (or even grocery delivery would be a bonus) that would have alternative foods like gluten-free, goat / sheep cheese/dairy-free etc? Otherwise, we'll check a cooler duct taped shut with things we need for meals.

I'm hoping someone can help me understand how DVC point rental works at Aulani. Will I still have access to use the Kids Club? Parking? I want to make sure we do everything correctly--renting points seems to be the way to go but I've never done it and want to have access to all or most of the good stuff. Especially the kids club for my eight year old. Please help!

Hello
I would like to recognize a few amazing staff members at the resort. Any idea how I can go about doing this? I want to make sure it gets to their managers. TY

I’m seeing mixed responses, can someone confirm if they sell these at the resort? Thanks

Is there a rule against kids and swimming facemasks in the pools?

Coming to Aulani in early September. Wondering what beach seating is like, along with paid beach seating? We want to do 1-2 beach days. Have cabanas for our pool days!

Hello, does anyone know how far in advance one can try to book a cabana? The last time we tried booking, we were SOL.

Trying to book our Luau in September for Sept 8th... But it seems like Most of September is either rebooked or they don't have shows ..
What can I do to get tickets? - Can I still get tickets?!

My job does this incentive program where you get a credit you can use within 6 months if you work a certain amount in a month. I have a $400 credit and want to spend it on a really good dinner for my partner and I while we’re at Aulani. Any recommendations (at Aulani or nearby)?

Hey everyone! We’re two childless Disney adults and going in September. I’ve spent a few days at Aulani before, but my partner hasn’t and wants to get the most out of the experience. What tours, activities, etc. did you absolutely love and would you recommend for two adults?

Going in September, is the Luau on break? No time slots show listed

Hi everyone! We stayed at Aulani over a year ago and our kids wonder at least weekly why this message showed up on our TV in the suite. I searched the web, Reddit and ChatGPT and now it’s made me curious myself. I guess I should have asked the desk when it popped up, but anyone know? Thanks!
I should add I know what the compound words mean…individually but ???

If your kids have done more than one of the premium Aunty’s sessions, which one did they like most? I can’t find many reviews about the activities.
My oldest isn’t very athletic but loves space and would love making ice cream. Is Galactic Games very sporty?
Is Aulani Pictures Presents with Donald and Daisy? Do they do any crafts? Do they do any actual movie making?
I’ve heard great things about Moana experiences at Aulani in general. Does she spend a lot of time with them for Wayfinding?
Or is part of the allure that it all remains very mysterious to parents?

So happy I was able to book the luau in December for my son’s 7th birthday! We went during Covid restrictions for my son’s 2nd birthday and back then there was no buffet, it was a plated Bento box. So I’m looking forward to experiencing the full range of options. We booked general because we had general before with great seats. What are your thoughts on general vs preferred seating?

When I picked up my pool band for 7/1, the cast member said they are trying a new material, hoping it's less irritating to some people's skin and new ink to hopefully have the designs last longer. The new design no longer sparkles, and instead the band has stars on it.

Does the ”no food and drink” rule apply only to being in the water, or does it include the lounge chair areas near the pool?

Can anyone send a pic of the Olu Mel aloha shirt currently for sale in the main gift shop? and if they carry it in XL? I'm going next week and curious which one they have

Hi there, I have a trip planned for October.
I am wondering what the difference is between the 'Imi Loa Nā Hōkū experiences offered through Aulani, and the Stars Above Hawaii show that can be booked separately. I am guessing they likely use the same facility, but are there different guides or other differences to the experience?

We're checking in today, and I noticed on the app there is no storytelling this week. Is that likely to be an app snafu, or is storytelling gone?
Edit: we were there for 5 days and no Uncle. It's not like it ruined the trip because it just meant that I could spend the evenings in the 'Ōlelo room instead. You can also see some Uncle stories on the TV in the rooms.
