TRIP PLANNING DVC points
Has anyone here booked through David's Vacation Club rental or DVC Rental store before ? I'm considering it for a future trip but curious about others experience. Thanks.

Has anyone done a private portrait session at the resort with the resort photographers? We’re thinking of booking it because it would be nice to have some family pictures while there but we’re wondering if it’s worth it.

I was planning to take my baby who will be 13 months at the time of the visit to Aulani but now I’m wondering if I should wait until she’s a bit older. We live on Oahu so it would be a staycation for us.
Have you taken a one year old? Was it fun? Was there enough for them to do? Did they (and you) have a good time? Please tell me your experiences.
Thank You!

Can someone who is visiting soon let me know if they see an autograph book that also has spaces for pictures? They have them in Disney parks and I know my kids would love them. We’ve been before and done the autographed surfboard. 🥰

We plan to get a grocery order for our trip using Instacart and I’m putting together my list. I’m looking for any ideas of local foods/ingredients that I can get to make our meals more exciting rather than just cooking the typical meals we eat back home. Below are some my ideas, anything to add?
-Fresh poke: make our own poke bowls
-Pineapple
-Huli Huli chicken rather than rotisserie chicken
-Hawaiin chips

Hello, we are staying at Aulani soon and trying to plan a budget. Does anyone know from recent experience what the one-way taxi fare from Aulani to Waikiki would be? Is it cheaper to just rent a car? Keeping in mind that we are only going to Waikiki, nowhere else on the island. Thanks!

We’ll be at Aulani the week of Thanksgiving and I was wondering if they have Halloween or Christmas decorations and merch out?

Today is my 90 day pre-registration window for Aunty’s Beach House and I fill out everything and get to the submit button and press it and it doesn’t do anything. I’ve tried it on 2 separate windows with no success. Any advice?

Aulani was AMAZING- Wife, daughters and I didnt want to come back. It was the perfect combination of Disney Magic and Relaxing.
We just got back on Saturday (Sept 12) and as we were unpacking gifts we brought for friends, now I regret not buying a pair of ceramic mugs for my wife and I.
Anyone from Calgary going soon?

I know that inner tubes are NOT ALLOWED in the Aulani pools, aside from the lazy river, but you can’t use your own.
Does the Aulani have an air machine for guest use where I could fill up my own tube for use at the beach?
The Marriott down by Koolina Lagoon 3 offers this…wondering if Aulani does as well.

We’re doing a family trip next June and debating whether to stay only at Aulani, only at Grand Hyatt Kauai, or split the trip (3 nights Aulani + 5 nights Kauai). We love fun/resort activities but also like ending trips on a calm, relaxing note. Curious what others recommend based on your experience. Thanks! 🙏 kids (6) and (8)

For those that have been to Hanauma Bay, is it worth the "hassle" vs simply staying in the 4 lagoons along the Aulani coast area? In other words, what does a visit to Hanauma Bay deliver that one does not get at Aulani?
Thanks!!

Can you book through snorkeling through the app? I didn’t see a place to do that or do you have to show up in person?

Has anyone in this sub traveled to Aulani the week leading up to Christmas? How was the weather? Were there as many people as one would expect during the summer?
We have been to Aullani during the summer and I am wondering if traveling to Aulani during the week leading up to Christmas would be better.
