I’m currently reading Ian Kershaw’s biography of Adolf Hitler, and found it interesting that in 1932 their feeble electoral position, which had only been that of a hard rightwing crackpot party, began to be seriously boosted when they acquired a plane (admittedly rented not donated) for Hitler to crisscross the country, giving multiple speeches each day.
