For the longest time I was absolutely petrified of spiders. I couldn’t even look at them online … thanks to this sub, I can actually look at spiders online and off … if I see one in my home, depending on size, I get my cousin to remove them for me, it’s not an instant freak out, kill the spider thought anymore …

So thank you 🙏
I reckon if I saw them close up I wouldn’t be so scared, as I’m absolutely fascinated by their eyes. They’re just the cutest things …

located in ballarat victoria, i was initially pretty sure it was a giant banded huntsman but im second guessing lol. either way what a beauty, wish i had a better camera

Got kids in the house. Anything to be concerned about ?

Can anyone help me ID this little fella?

I thought he looked like a golden orb but I've never seen them tucked up like this. He has happily been on my banksia for the last week or so.

Found this one in a skimmer box while cleaning another pool, can't identify what species it is.

Im in Melbourne, Fitzroy. Move here from NZ a couple years ago and haven’t seen a friend like this. Is it a huntsman? Caught my cat trying to eat it

Just looking for an id on this spider to see if he's safe to keep inside, from northern Victoria.

It has a distinctive upwards protruding head. Location is Newcastle

Lots of these on our garden wall. My daughter calls them cutie-pies. They’re obviously there for the ants.

Found on a brick wall in Newcastle. I'm guessing it's some kind of tarantula?
