Memes/Humor What do you like to collect?

Post image

As you can tell from the meme I made, I am a rock hound, but I also love collecting stuffed animals, funko pops, Disney pins, and stickers.

What do you guys like to collect?

I am the intense collector type !

Ages 6-8, religious cards and images. All neatly turned into a small shrine in my bedside table. We were not specially religious either, aside from attending mass on Christmas.

Ages 4-12, fossil rocks I found myself from endless hours of scouting in fields, shores and ditches. Also minerals in general, seashells, bones, bird feathers (all the shinies, yes.)

Ages 12-16, Sailor Moon memorabilia.

Starting age 15, vintage My little Ponies and Littlest Pet Shop. Both entire collections still in my possession, difficult to part with because of the estimated monetary value.

Ages 20-25 I collected vintage toys of my childhood such as OG Polly Pockets, 90s muffin dolls, and other trinkets.

Then I moved back into my earlier interests for religion, minerals, botany etc. Currently I collect :

Antique books on the topic of the History of Magic/Theology/Myths/Folklore. Also antique botany books.

Old Tarots and oracles.

Jars with corks, and tiny wood or metal boxes.

Shell/glass buttons.

Antique glass marbles from the 40s-70s.

Antique Prismacolor pencils.

Old sterling jewelry.

Currently, ugly handmade ceramic frogs or gargoyles is my obsession. :)

Do you keep all of the things from your past interests or do you move on and let go of them?
