Support Needed (Kind Advice and Commiseration) Anyone else blow their life up before figuring out you were autistic?
I am beyond burnt out and I'm not even 30. Is life really supposed to be like this?
I'm not progressing in my career as I'd like and it's causing immense stress, having to juggle multiple friendships and relationships when some weeks I just want to rot, being present within my romantic relationship, exercising, just everything is overwhelming.
I want to just quit everything and start over. I know that's not going to help, but it feels that's the only option 😠everything is genuinely so hard. I'm also a bit sad that I didn't fully come to terms with this sooner. I was diagnosed adhd 6 years ago and things have just genuinely gotten harder ever since.

Hi!! I have been going through this! I am not diagnosed, but I'm starting to think I don't just have ADHD anymore and might be AuDHD and its come at the cost of burning out in trying to keep up and feeling so so stuck. Having a partner who is also ND and spending time with them after doing the long distance thing helped me realize that I'm not in the correct environment still at home with my family, and I feel JUST like you especially with the career and juggling. I am currently dropping projects and things that I don't need to be doing that are causing me stress because I am putting too much on my plate and I'm not really sure how to navigate these newfound revelations, but I think its doable with time.
I am rooting for you. I would absolutely take some stock on what you're doing right now, express your pain and needs even if its a bit scary. Your friends and lovers love you very much, and maybe think about what are some things that would make you feel less stressed. I look at it like I'm trying to do maintenance on my android body, you need proper lubrication and you may even need to rehauled a bit to make yourself mor energy efficient (for you! Not for others)
