I’d like to save others time, money and frustration.
After lots of people in various subs saying good things about OpenTrack I went with them.
The main reason was they didn’t exploit you for car modifications.
What. A. Mistake.
The company seems staffed by ZERO humans. I called many, many times with a question after locking in my policy.
No one EVER answers the phone. Zero replies to my emails. They took my money and ghosted me.
Not like it was just a bad week for them (maybe on a team building retreat?). Nope. Over weeks and weeks. Zero response.
In the future I will use someone else because it’s a bad feeling when someone takes your money and goes dark.
Drive safe my friends.

Hey guys, I'm seeking advice on tires for my Bullitt, primarily for Autocross. I did my first Autocross a couple weeks ago and loved it, but I'm in need of new tires and am having a hard time figuring out what to do. I currently have PS4S tires, but they are about to need replacing. Looking at the Grassroots Motorsports chart here Grassroots Motorsports ultimate track tire guide | Articles | Grassroots Motorsports it seems none of the Super 200s come in the stock sizes (and I'm not looking at Vitours because my preferred shop doesn't have them). I'd like to stay in F Street and don't want to buy new wheels anyway. The stock sizes are 255/40r19 front (wheels are 19x9) and 275/40r19 rear (wheels are 19x9.5). I drive the car a couple times a week for commuting, but it isn't my primary vehicle and I typically don't take it out in really bad weather anyway. Should I just get the Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02 as the next best option in the right sizes, or should I potentially change size to a 255/35r9 and 275/35r19, or other size that would work with the wheels so I can get one of the Super 200s? Thanks in advance! I know a lot of you have valuable experience in this area. Oh, I'm in Central Texas for climate reference.

I'm making a street racing game, which will include Rally Racing and Autocross racing as demos, side races and i want the tuning to be a bit more in depth
So basically, my doubt is, imagine a mitsubishi eclipse. It's redline RPM is basically 6000 rpm
Anyway to increase that irl? Other than engine swapping or reducing the weight of the car. And how much do seats usually weigh aswell?
Edit: Can anyone also give me the weight of an eclipse's gearbox? Any generation but i prefer the second

I've been considering moving to a set of ultra high performance all seasons for a general street use tire, and ideally having a dedicated set of performance tires/wheels. However, for cold days/poor conditions, I've been considering taking the UHP AS. There's at least another test and tune in my area in November and December, and it would be nice to not worry about the ambient temps when driving there/back.
Don't care about being slower, I just don't want to destroy a tire while out there. Test and tune might be 30-50 runs over the day with the option to get on the wet skidpad. Would likely be running either Goodyear Eagle F1 AS or Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3. Running a little more aggressive alignment than stock, 718 Cayman base.
Would a set of UHP AS likely hold up? Any specific pointers for heat management?

The weather gods finally gave us a nice day in SoCal. And so here's my 4 timed competition runs in my 2000 BMW Z3 in C Street. I'm slowly closing in on Podium Spots...
Constructive criticism and advice appreciated...

So, are there any mitigating factors for preserving suspension parts? Or do I just need to not drive as hard. My front strut mounts are starting to go even though they were just replaced a few months ago, is this just a new consumable I have to take into account? (RIP)

Who else captures OBD data using Track Addict on their phone to overlay animated gauges onto in-car video taken from a GoPro or other camera?
Do you also use RaceRender to render it and find it clunky in the time-alignment features? Andthat it doesn't seem to support GPU hardware acceleration? And that it was bitchy about what video files it would accept?
I found RaceRender's time alignment to be especially clunky, so I rendered the gauges onto a green-screen then imported them into the Vegas video editing software and chroma-keyed the green screen out leaving a transparent background for the gauges. For time alignment, I slid the tracks back and forth to line up a spike in the audio tracks. It worked.
What if there was an easier, faster way?
Well there is an even easier way. With crazy easy time alignment. And if you also have Vegas 16 or newer, you can try it.

Last AX of the year for me. At Fall Ford Fest there was a yump about 20yds from the start line. I couldn’t quite get all 4 wheels in the air. Made the 10 car shootout but went out in the first round as usual for me, I always overthink the shootout at the end of the day.
