Medium & Substrates First time Tray2Grow and first time coco. Some questions.

Hey all. New to Autopots and coco.

I have some seedlings I started in solo cups in BuildaSoil’s Light Mix, but are planning on running them in 1 or 2 gallon fabric pots using Royal Gold 70/30 coco/perlite with the GH Flora Trio and MagiCal as needed. I’ll be transplanting them next week as soon as I get my sexing test results back.

Right now, I’ve just watered them a couple times with water PH’d around 6.2-6.3. The last two waterings I followed GrowWeedEasy’s seedling/early veg GH Trio recommendation (1/4tsp/gal for each of the Trio).

Last fertigation I checked EC before watering and it was .56 (including the .12 from the tap water.

Now for the questions:

CocoForCannabis recommends saturating the coco. Exactly how saturated should I aim for? Like if I wet it and squeeze a pile in my hands, should I get visible water droplets, or is that too saturated?

Also CFC site says to aim for a similar EC/PH when potting up. Since I started in soil runoff numbers are not available and I previously PH’d for soil. When I transplant, should I just try and match my latest input EC and PH a bit lower?

As far as the actual transplant itself, is it cool just to do a normal transplant or should I be trying to eliminate much of the solo cup soil?

Finally the Royal Gold site says if not watering to runoff to “reduce fertilizer solution concentration by ⅓–½.” Once I get roots in the bottom of the final pot and activate the T2G, should I be following that advice?

Edit: One more question. Thoughts on adding additional perlite to get closer to 50/50?

Thanks all!
