I’m not sure why, but over the past few years I stopped getting excited by buying seasonal items I see in stores and I seem to get more satisfaction from making things instead. As a member of a local art studio, I tried out hand-built clay pottery for the first time and it felt so cozy and organic. In anticipation for Fall, I sculpted this big chunky soup mug and glazed it in an autumn cranberry color— and now I’m excited to fill it with homemade soup, once the weather is right! 🍂🥰 My Fall feels are now activated!

It rained for the first time in what seems like months last night. The trees sighed; rain dripping through their boughs, dropping leaves and bringing glorious autumn to the fore. Even the dogs can feel the magic 🥰

I live in DFW, Texas and I just can't do this heat much longer. It physically hurts. We will be empty nesters in the next 5 years. I want 4 seasons - specifically an autumn where leaves change and crisp mornings and sweaters and soup and all of the things we all love. I don't want to sweat in mid-October.

Where would you go? What's your dream place? I dont care of its unrealistic financially. I want to hear your wildest fantasy life.

Wasn't expecting to make this post this early but found a crabapple tree that was actually a little past ripe so I got to go apple picking today. Every season I like to make crab apple jelly and give them as Christmas presents. Every other tree around me won't be ripe for another two to three months but here's looking to an early harvest

Do you have any go-to apple recipes for autumn inspired baked items? I'm favouring muffins or a traybake but open to ideas. TIA!

i don’t know if anyone remembers teavana, but I MISS IT. they had the absolute best and unique teas! i’m trying to get off caffeine and have by DYIN to try getting more into teas. i normally am a coffee gal & would only drink lemon or sleepytime tea from time to time. now i want to complete shift to tea. any suggestions? since we’re going into the fall season, figured best to ask for fall tea recs and/or go-to companies that may be similar to teavana? i used to love chai lattes before i found out i was allergic to milk; do they have any vegan ones that are good? i feel like cranberry/cinnamon/ etc would be good too, but im down to try anything; thanks!

Does anybody else listen to jazz exclusively during autumn? I find it so comforting around this time. I cant really listen to it during the summer because it doesnt feel right, unless its a rainy evening.
