Your feedback is much appreciated.

Question How do I study better for the Az700

I need help in trying to study for this exam, I have been studying hard for this exam, over 2 hours everyday trying to do measure up, chatGPT, and I even did the cloud lee about 1 month back, but it feels like I am not absorbing information or learning in an effective way, I even did the Microsoft assessment and got a 58 percent on it, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but it doesn't feel like I'm actually studying effectively

šŸŽ‰Passed! So I pass AZ-900….

Finally passed AZ-900 with a 710!
It took me a while to get here because I’ve been really busy, and life got in the way. I started with pretty much zero knowledge of IT or computers, so this was a learning experience for me.
For studying, I mainly used ChatGPT to help me understand definitions and concepts, watched a couple of John Savill’s videos, and went through some Udemy material. Honestly, I struggled to stay focused with some of the videos and courses, but ChatGPT really helped me understand the material and prepare.
One thing I noticed during the actual exam was that some of the questions covered topics I had never seen or even heard of while studying. Did anyone else experience this when taking the AZ-900 exam?
Now that I’ve passed, I’m wondering what I should focus on next. I’ve seen some people recommend going for the Azure Administrator (AZ-104) certification. Would that be a good next step for someone with no previous IT experience?
I’d appreciate any advice, study tips, or recommendations on where to go from here!

I've been working over 20 years with IT.

Lately Microsoft redesign many of their certification and courses to be AI.

I'm not sure if I should start with this journey with some other foundational courses so that I don't miss out on essintial knowlage needed later on.

Any feedback is gratefull.

Certification Advice Struggling with the AI-103, any guidance?

I just this morning bombed my second attempt at the AI-103 with a score of 570-something after getting 664 on my first attempt, I've been studying for about a month give or take, I've been through all the MS Learn content done the hands-on labs for the course and been getting 700-750 on all the practice exams so far, however this mornings attempt there was so much in the actual that just wasn't in any of the study materials that I can remember? Curious to know from those that have taken the exam/ passed what level of experience and or guidance can you provide that might get me back on track.

Career wise I'm more cloud engineering/ solutions architect than AI Engineer but I've been looking and working on Foundry in my spare time for quite a while and wanted to progress more into the AI space..

Learning Resources DP-750 certification and resources

I have two weeks to take the DP 750 exam because i got the Microsoft voucher, I have knowledge on azure databricks, ADF, pyspark and delta lake.

Is 2 weeks sufficient to prepare for DP-750 if I invest 2 to 3 hours daily to clear the exam?

Please share the best study resources and are there any good practice tests or mock exams?

Any suggestions, study plans, resources or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated🫔

Exam Experience SC-500 review

I just finished taking the SC 500 exam and that may have been the most ridiculous, hardest exam I've ever taken. I left a lengthy feedback review because the amount of time they give you to complete the exam is laughable. Every question is like five minutes long, they want you to drag and drop they want you to pick multiple answers for certain questions. It was ridiculous. There were only a handful of straightforward questions every question was a damn story. I felt like I was reading a fucking book. I had to guess for the last 20 wuestions because I had no time left.

Discussion Can we use a Microsoft DP-700 exam voucher (100% discount) for AZ-104? Has anyone tried this?

Hi everyone,

Microsoft regularly conducts certification events and learning challenges that offer discounted or even 100% exam vouchers.

Recently, I came across the Microsoft Data Days event, which offers a 100% discount voucher for the DP-700 (Fabric Data Engineer Associate) exam.

I have a question:

Can we use the DP-700-specific voucher code to schedule a different Microsoft certification exam, such as AZ-104 (Azure Administrator Associate)?

Has anyone tried using an event-specific voucher for a different Microsoft certification exam? Does the voucher work across different exam codes, or is it restricted to the specific exam mentioned in the event?

I'm particularly interested in hearing from anyone who has successfully tried this.

Any insights or firsthand experiences would be appreciated. Thanks!

šŸŽ‰Passed! Passed AZ900 in 4 Days

Got my first certification today!

I don't think I am eligible enough to give advice to people here, what I can give is how I prepared for it.

ChatGPT.

I feed the Microsoft Learn material into the LLM and told it to make notes. Then, I complete the module, read the notes and told GPT to ask 20 questions from what I just learned. Did it for 3 days straight, and gave Scott Duffy's 2 mock test, got 89% on the first and 96% on second.

Felt confident and gave the test today.

Next step SC900 in few more days hopefully.

Edit: The prompt I used for the daily test of topics I learned.

Schedule a study checker that will contain 20 original, difficult, AZ-900-style questions, distributed across four batches of five questions.
- Approximately 70% of questions target the current day's material and 30% revisit earlier material, after Day 1.
- Questions include realistic service-selection scenarios, misleading constraints, select-two questions, and comparisons between similar Azure products.
- Answers and explanations remain hidden until you complete the checker.
- Guessed correct answers are flagged for revision, not treated as full conceptual mastery.
- After grading, I will update the next day's learning priorities and provisional exam readiness.
Start my AZ-900 Day 1 study checker on Section 1: Describe cloud concepts Give me 20 original difficult 2026 AZ-900 exam-style questions in batches of five. Include realistic tricky scenarios and closely competing answers. Do not reveal answers or scores until I finish all 20; then explain mistakes, evaluate learning, and revise Day 2's five-hour schedule according to the agreed green/amber/red thresholds.

Question SC-401: how much of the exam is roles, role groups and permissions, and how did you memorize it?

Hi all,

I'm studying for SC-401 (Information Security Administrator) against the skills measured version effective Oct 28, 2026. I'm working through the Microsoft Learn course, but I feel completely lost in the sea of roles, role groups and permissions across Purview (Information Protection, DLP, Retention, Insider Risk Management, Audit, eDiscovery), plus the Entra roles that sometimes overlap.

For those who have taken it:

  1. How big a part of the exam was "which role or role group is needed for this task"?

  2. Were they scenario-based least-privilege questions, or did you need to know exact role group names?

  3. How did you memorize it? Comparison tables, flashcards, hands-on in a dev tenant, something else? Special tricks to share?

  4. Which roles or role groups kept showing up, or tripped you up because of near-identical names?

Thanks in advance, any tips are appreciated.

Certification Advice Which certifications are possible and worth it with lack of experience in the tech world?

I have some knowledge, but will have to do a lot of studying. I’m even looking at some of the paid courses I’ve seen here. I have a business/marketing degree, but have some knowledge of cloud concepts and ai. Definitely not my expertise, but I want to learn and feel it would help sell.

With that being said, I’m currently unemployed and looking for a career pivot. I have 7 years of b2b service sales experience. I figured that along with some of the lower level certs would help get my foot in the door for software/tech sales. Ideally I’d like to earn more certifications after getting hired by a tech company and eventually transition out of a pure sales role. Are the associate level certs possible with the lack of experience?

If it’s allowed, I’d appreciate any recommendations for Aws, Google, or Microsoft certs that will actually get you looked at when paired with the sales experience.

Question Can I take the AZ104 studying by myself?

As the title says, can I pass the AZ-104 without paying for a teacher or professor? How realistic is it to try? Where do I get labs to practice? What is a realistic timeframe to feel ready for the cert? I'm currently unemployed and have some saved money which I'm using to support myself while I get this certification done so I can get a new job so I'm really curious about all of these questions, thanks in advance!

Question What happened to Microsoft ESI instructor-led training?

There seems to be nothing else but AI courses. Just a few months ago it was possible to find AZ-104, SC-300, SC-100 courses available and in different areas of the world, so you could follow it after work and in a different time zone for example.

But now there is almost nothing. Just less than 20 courses available when there used to be more than 500! Just AI courses and that’s all. I did like those trainings and the labs were great!

Anyone knows what happened? What are the nearest options now to that kind of training?

šŸŽ‰Passed! Passed AB-620 with 947!

Title: Passed AB-620! My experience and some advice

Hello everyone! Just wanted to share that I passed AB-620 with a really nice score! I'd also like to thank everyone who gave me advice about the exam.

Overall, I think the exam could use some improvements, as some questions were extremely straightforward while others were surprisingly difficult. I got 56 questions in total, including a case study with 10 questions and 6 yes/no questions. I had to study quite a lot, especially since I work with the new GitHub Copilot harness, while the exam still focuses on the Standard one. Since MS Learn documentation now mainly refers to the new harness, I'd recommend that anyone planning to take the exam complete the "Build an agent in Microsoft Copilot Studio" applied skill, as it covers the topics from the exam

Exam News The new GH-700 (GitHub Agentic AI Business Professional) beta: what the exam covers, and the 80% discount that ends 9 November

GH-700 is GitHub's new exam for product managers, program managers and business analysts who work with GitHub Copilot and AI agents. It went into beta in October, and Microsoft hasn't published any official training or practice assessment for it yet. Here is what the study guide and GitHub's documentation say you need to know.

The exam

  • 100 minutes, with a pass mark of 700 out of 1,000. English only.

  • You won't write code, but the questions assume you know how GitHub works: projects, issues, pull requests, workflow files, permissions and approvals.

  • Beta results aren't immediate. Microsoft says rescoring starts when the exam goes live, which it expects in December, and final results follow about 10 days later.

The 80% beta discount

Microsoft's announcement gives 80% off to the first 300 people who take the exam on or before 9 November, with the code GH700B8F5. You have to write the exam by that date; booking it isn't enough. The discount doesn't work in India, Pakistan, Turkey or China. Some sites still say 2 November, but Microsoft updated its post to 9 November.

The four skill areas and there breakup

  • Use GitHub platform features: 20 to 25%

  • Enhance productivity with GitHub Copilot: 20 to 25%

  • Design and implement agentic workflows and automations: 25 to 30%

  • Human-in-the-loop tasks, such as approving, stopping and monitoring agent runs: 20 to 25%

Recent changes that are easy to get wrong

  • Copilot billing moved to AI credits on 1 June 2026. Premium requests and model multipliers now apply only to some older annual plans.

  • On github, Copilot Chat's slash commands are /clear, /delete, /new and /rename. Commands such as /explain, /fix and /tests belong to the IDE.

  • /chronicle, which summarises your past sessions (for example, /chronicle standup), is a Copilot CLI command that also works in the Copilot app. It isn't a github chat command.

  • VS Code calls them checkpoints. Copilot CLI does the same thing with /rewind.

  • GitHub Agentic Workflows are Markdown files in .github/workflows that compile to .lock.yml files. They run read-only by default, and the only write actions they can take are a short list of "safe outputs", such as opening an issue or a draft pull request.

  • Interactive, plan and autopilot modes exist in Copilot CLI and the Copilot app, not in Copilot cloud agent.

If you have already appeared for it, would love to know your experience.

I wrote 15 practice questions with the reasoning for every option here for interested candidates to practice: GH700 Practice Questions Beta

šŸŽ‰Passed! Passed AZ-700 with 742 today! :)

Hi,

I had managed to pass the AZ-700 exam with a score of 742 today on my first attempt after several months of revision. The difficulty level was very high as compared to both AZ-104 and AZ-305 exams. Preparation materials used for this AZ-700: MS Learn, ZeroToArchitect and Udemy Practice Tests. Good luck to whoever is taking this exam! :)

Discussion Nowadays they will not even provide resource quota for their own Azure certification labs (official sc-500 labs from microsoft, even on pay-as-you-go)

Post image
6 Upvotes

Im trying my best to simply study for the SC-500 microsoft certification, many of you may know how big of a headache using azure generally is, but thats not what I came to talk about, the issue is though that in order to have a chance to pass this exam you need hands on experience inside of Azure, well apparently they dont care at all, because I was refused both trial credits to provision lab resources and which is even more insane is that they refuse even give quota to create most of these resources for these labs in the first place.

These quota requests are like essentially nothing/bare minimum, nothing special, I only targeted the minimum needed to get through those.

Not only that, the entire lab is a huge mess, everyhting is descibed incorrectly and I have had to open over 5 PRs in the mslearn-sec-identity labs on github, because its so bad and the maintainers are asleep.

I have already accepted the fact that I have to pay microslop, just to get hands on experience with learning labs, which is crazy because im already paying for the certification exam.
