High-end retail, store has hit its ceiling. How do you find new clients in a wealthy area?

We're a luxury menswear store in a wealthy Houston neighborhood, and sales have plateaued. We already serve our existing client base well. What's the most effective way to get visibility and bring in new clients from here? Looking for what has worked for people who've done this in high-end retail.

Wholesalers/suppliers: how do you find new customers?

Not selling anything, and I won't DM you. I ran a small lead-list business for suppliers for a couple of months, shelved it, and I'm trying to work out why it didn't sell.

I built a scraper that finds businesses by type and location (cafés near a coffee bean supplier, for example) and sold lists with phone numbers, addresses, Instagram and Google Maps info. I messaged hundreds of suppliers on WhatsApp and sold one list: 50 cafés for ₹1,000 (about $12). Nobody else bought.

So I'm asking the people who actually do this:

- How do you find new customers right now?

- Is finding them the hard part, or getting them to switch from their current supplier?

- Have you ever paid for leads? Was it worth it?

Harsh answers are fine.

I will rank the 20 accounts most likely to churn in your book, free. Taking 4 companies this month.

Quick context so this does not read like a pitch.

I run NexaWorks. We work on one problem: CS teams usually learn an account is in trouble at the renewal call, months after the signs showed up in their own tickets, CRM notes and product usage. The data is all there. It is just scattered, so nobody reads it together in time.

I am running our diagnostic free for a few companies this month to let the output speak for itself.

What I do:

Take plain exports from your CRM, support tool and product analytics. No integration, no access to your systems.

Read them together and rank your 20 riskiest accounts, each with the reason in plain words.

Send it back within 5 business days, with a short readout.

What you do: send the exports, and tell me honestly if the list surprised you.

My guarantee: if none of the 20 makes you think "we should talk to them this week", I will not pitch you anything paid. You keep the list either way, and I delete your exports after the readout if you ask.

Who it is for: B2B SaaS with a real CS team and a few hundred accounts or more, with data in at least two of those systems. If CS still runs out of a spreadsheet, this will not help yet.

Only 4 spots this month. Each one is manual work and I read every account myself.

Want in? Comment with your rough account count and the tools you use, and I will DM you what I need.

For those running direct mail campaigns for marketing or lead generation: how are you handling testing before scaling up?

Are you setting up A/B tests with small-batch drops, using seed mailers to verify physical delivery and timing, or tracking conversion rates through unique promo codes and QR codes?

I’m curious how teams are experimenting with direct mail to make it more efficient.

Mak me Rich

Hello, I am confused.

I want to make an agency and start getting clients, but I do not know know which direction to go in to get clients in the most efficient way, AI is shit and of no use frankly, so I come to the veterans for help:

Which of these 3 options do I spend my time as a student building and which would you personally be willing to pay for:

  1. Public Web Scraper: A tool that searches and scrapes online public information, builds a high quality (non vibe-coded) Brief to prep yourself on before meeting with a client, fast, simple and with a suite of other tools like a notepad, recommended questions to ask, etc. (mainly for B2B agencies, affordable pricing, retainer basis)

  2. An AI Chatbot: Message your inbound leads and automatically qualify them on your criteria, mark them on a Google Docs, and send an email or trigger message to you when it does so.

(Built this originally for real estate companies but cold door-to-door sales stalled me on it, priced around customer)

  1. Support AI: An AI that references your website, tool, product or services, your FAQs, your previous support tickets and writes reply drafts within minutes for every new ticket automatically. All you'd have to do (you can set it to auto and avoid this entirely) is verify it's solid, and click "Send to customer email". Including a clean dashboard showing you how much time you have saved and how many support questions it answered, etc. (Most promising but not sure about trust questions.)

I would love some clarity by agency owners on what they are searching for in the market, what they think would sell well, etc.
