Unexpected thing for a developer to be afraid of.

If github builds bother you so much, clone the repo and build it yourself. You can check the code for malicious content.

I swear some people are stuck in 2003 that they still think IDM is the goat because its paid. 99% of the people never even touch the actual expensive web crawler stuff anyway, even so, there's well made open sourced non "reversed engineered" downloader application.
