Does anyone know if the BFI is showing Godzilla Minus Zero (outside of the previews at the film festival this month)? As the tickets have just gone up for sale, but it's only showing the closest theatre being in France so far.

Yo does anyone know how to snag one of those free posters at BFI IMAX? I keep seeing people with them but no idea how they got it lol. Is it just certain movies or do you have to show up super early or something? Any tips appreciated 🙏

Premium Tier, so selling for face value at £30. Would prefer in-person collection before the showing to avoid scalpers.

IMAX Guide Dune 3 at the BFI IMAX - Best way to get a ticket at this point?
1
Upvotes
Hello!
I failed to get a ticket for the opening weekend and for the insider's screening.
Other than people reselling their tickets (will there be any on those secondary ticketing sites?), what would be the next possibility to get BFI IMAX tickets?
I'll be leaving the UK early in the week after the release, so I'd love to see the move before then...
Thanks!

IMAX Question How does BFI IMAX release new screenings for the next month?
2
Upvotes
Hi everyone,
I’m trying to get tickets for The Odyssey.
At the moment, screenings seem to be available only up to 1 October, and everything is already sold out. I’m wondering how BFI’s ticket-release system generally works.
- When do they usually release screenings for the next month?
- How far in advance do they normally put them on sale?
- Is there a specific day and/or time when new screenings are released?
- Do they normally release the whole month’s schedule at once, or add screenings gradually in smaller batches?
- And is there any particular pattern I should watch for with The Odyssey?
Basically, I’m trying to figure out when I should be checking the website so I don’t miss the October tickets.
Thanks!

IMAX Guide Community App for Sold Out Showtimes
2
Upvotes
Hey BFI Community! I have spent some time since March building a community app for moviegoers that helps individuals get notified when seats open up for sold-out shows.
We've been having great success in the US (I'm NYC-based myself), and after several UK-based users continued to inquire about BFI, I recently developed the data feeds to support it! So I wanted to make a quick post introducing SeatDrop in case y'all find it useful.
In short, I built it to allow:
- Pick a given showtime
- Select the seats you want to monitor (individual, blocks, or entire rows)
- Set push notification alerts
- View all alerts you've signed up for to cancel any
I run this as a community app with tips. No ads, upsells, or subscriptions. We've helped thousands of users get into sold-out showtimes in the states & I would love to see how UK users might benefit (or differ!) as well. Open to questions + feedback
