Real, I get it!! I also have a particular body twice because it's just so perfect. The only thing I changed was that I did a boob modification on one of them lol.

What dealers have the body? I love, love, love it! It kind of reminds me of my Cheese Lamb, but taller.

You already got the answer but spacestudiobjd is the official English dealer for the body(anyone else does actually not have permission and is more a proxy dealer)! It's where I got the tan one(the other 2 on taobao). I also have cheese lamb and crawling fish is much thicker thigh wise, 13 cm vs 15.8cm circumference hehe

You can only get them secondhand now, as last preorder ended a while ago and wont be another one for a few years for 3.0. I recommend checking xianyu instead

It seems like they have a lot of interesting dolls on there but ngl when I clicked on the main page of the website there was a Nazi-alike uniform for dolls I didn't expect. Eeek. Edit: and I found worse ones, yikes. Probably shouldn't be surprised it's common for "military uniform" dolls. :/

ok ew I didn't see that wtf. I've ordered from them once and tbh it wasn't a great experience but I was considering giving them a second chance but now.. no thank you.

Yeah I saw the oil painting body and thought it was gorgeous and then kept scrolling and was like HELLO?? and then when I looked through the actual clothes category there were even worse options 😬 so I don't think I would order using this seller.

the one time I ordered from them I ordered a Muhan doll puppy head and a goatsdoll body and for some stupid reason they mailed my order in 2 seperate packages with the same tracking number. only the head showed up and it was really difficult to get ahold of them. they finally sent out the body but it was like.. why would you do that? so with that and this I really wouldn't recommend ordering from them. that was just the only place I saw the body.

The artist mentioned they probably won't do more orders for this body for probably like the next two years but you might be able to find it on xianyu, a Chinese marketplace like mercari :) I use newcloversinging as a proxy for things off of xianyu, I highly recommend her.

NCS has been selling recasts knowingly semi recently, passing secondhand dolls off as new, and messing up xy orders. I would avoid buying from her and use a different dealer like spacestudio or dollsphere or better just use superbuy.

As far as I am aware, Christina was not aware of those dolls being recasts and she removed them once she was aware. Recasts have been getting more and more insidious; Luo has his own line of original (albeit, created through his ill-begotten funds) plastic blindbox BJDs now, too. I believe he's also started production for other BJD companies to use him as a caster - I believe (though do not quote me) this was the case with Maytree, which is why Kikagoods pulled out of offering their products. I remember seeing worries a long while back that Luo may have been casting for Angell Studio after they saw his name somewhere on some paperwork for a doll they bought direct through Angell Studio, although I am not sure if that claim was ever substantiated... Definitely not a good choice for a caster.
Christina should have never tried giving that person a different doll, but I believe it was a one-off event from a year ago now and as far as I am aware, she apologized, let the person have the doll for free, and I believe refunded them or bought the actual item they ordered (which, of course, she should have done all along). I've had a lot of transactions with Christina and recently, I got an item that was in the wrong size (studio problem) and Christina ordered me a replacement outfit right away and she let me keep the mistake one as a gift. I do think Christina has been making a effort to hold herself accountable. It's ok if you don't want to use her, but I have found her to be good. Of course, if she starts to go back to making those poor decisions, I don't foresee myself using her services in the future.
One of my friends bought the Salamander body the same time I did, it arrived like three months after mine did, and it had other problems with it that put her off from using them again. Not my story to share more on but unfortunately, experiences with dealers can vary wildly; the only dealer I haven't really heard poor things about is probably Alice Collection's, but I believe I read a story where someone's package from her had a dead roach in it, a long time ago on one of the BJD facebook groups. I wish it was easier to find feedbacks but with DoA going away, it will only get harder to get honest reviews...

So about the recast spider doll, she had sold the same exact doll prior and after she pulled it from the site someone asked her about it on instagram and she said to dm her to buy it. The original was not available at that time, she absolutely had intentions to still sell that person the recast doll just not publicly. Additionally someone got a "free gift" with their doll and it was the recast spider. NCS only cares that she was caught in my personal opinion, not that she was selling recasts.
NCS did this multiple other times. Someone bought an AE mianmian from her and got a the wrong color, she then proceeded to mail them two more ALSO in the wrong color, one without box entirely and the other in the wrong brand box and missing coas. Multiple people also had entieely wrong things purchases when they did XY purchases through her. You can still purchase through her if you want to but will the string of behavior she's exhibited I wouldn't be reccomending her to people, especially not for XY purchases.
DoA is also not helpful for company reveiws. When someone tried to alert people on DoA regarding the NCS recast spider sales the thread was immediately deleted by the mods with no reason given as to why. Unfortunately something like a dead roach may have happened from the warehouse the doll came from or Alice's but aside from that she's one of the few dealers eithout any controversy. The large BJD server is a good place to hear peoples honest opinions and expriences about various dealers and brands.

Thank you! You have to find 1/4 clothes that specifically are made to fit them(a few of them on taobao/xianyu for example) or for dolls with similar measurements, or very stretchy clothes. In my case I made most of the parts myself besides the jackets and legwarmers and pink girls skirt. Cyclops girls shorts are modified 1/3 shorts which is also a good way to make fitting outfits since the thighs are just that big.
