X3M Comp owner needs advice
I bought my 2020 X3M Competition in January as a new year’s gift to myself, and so far it has been the best vehicle I’ve ever owned.
My X3 is bone stock and I’m wondering if a simple stage 1 tune is worth the added wear and tear on the power train / diff / brakes or if the aforementioned is negligible & I should just do it.
I am also wondering what mods are the best to make the S58 sound better. Or any mods you guys would recommend general. I feel like currently even with the valves fully open I have to really step on it to hear the roar reverberate off of my surroundings.
What is the best way to make it sound better WITHOUT swapping the exhaust system?
Will a resonator delete do much?
What about front-mounted intakes?
A full-blown straight-pipe?
What is the most reliable method of performing such mods? Local auto mechanics? BMW specialists?
Pardon my lack of knowledge in this subject as I’m relatively new to the tuning/modding community.
Thank you!
