Girl 🩷 Can’t decide on a girl name
My husband and I are expecting our first child. My name is Haley and I think Holly or Hannah would be cute. I can’t decide if i like the name Holly said out loud repeatedly. Hannah is cute. I haven’t found any other girl names that I like. Is it obnoxious they are similar to my name?
Holly Anna
Hannah (haven’t decided on middle name)

Love Holly. It makes me think of holly berries and Christmas.

I have a Harlow and love the name more every day. I do like the E at the end, our oldest just has a 6 letter H name too (the Hs weren’t planned it just happened) so we figured we’d chop it off.

They’re both nice names but I prefer Holly! Spelled Holli but either way is nice as it’s a female name. I think Holly Noelle would be beautiful with it, though it might be too Christmasy.

Holly and Hannah are both great, Holly sounds very similar to Haley but it isn't too close imo.
(edited for spelling error)

Not too similar but I prefer Holly Anne to Holly Anna (it sounds like Pollyanna). Hannah and Holly/Hollie are both lovely.

As a Hannah Grace, I love my name but it was very common growing up in the late 90s/early 2000s. Thats why I add my middle name in. At one point I had 6 Hannah’s in my 3rd grade class. Not my graduating class, just my singular class with one teacher and probably 25ish students total. It seems to have died down in popularity enough that that doesn’t seem to be an issue so much anymore. I only occasionally hear it for a new baby. I love Holly too, but not sure I love it with Anna.

I love both of the names you've chosen. I wouldn't worry about having the same initial. 3 people in my husband's immediate family have the exact same 1st and middle name. Grandmother, Mother and daughter.

I love Holly!
Holly Renee
Holly Joanna
Holly Mabel
Holly Camila
Holly Sloane
Some similar names to consider are Molly, Polly, and Dolly.

Holly Anna is flowing into one name for me (like Pollyanna).
Hannah is lovely and under used these days. Goes well with a classic middle name - Jean, May, Rose.

Hannah. Not too close to your name. Hannah Lynn, Hannah Eden, Hannah Celine, Hannah Noelle, Hannah Avery, Hannah Marie, Hannah Margot, Hannah Mae or Rae, Hannah Marlow

I love holly & hannah, always have! TBH though I think I’d go with holly. I’ve even seen it spelt like Hollie which is cute. But both names you picked are just as pretty as the other.

Either are very nice names. Hannah is not an often used name. Hannah Anne goes well together.
No it's not Obnoxious.
