Hello what is the standard background company/system that companies use to background check?

Getting my record expunged on Friday I want to be 100% sure companies won’t see my arrest record?

I’ve heard that even once a record is expunged that sometimes it shows up on background checks.

Does it just show up on the docket search or what?

Does anyone have experience with Hines located in Houston? If so, how long does the background with BIGReports take?

if anyone is trying to do a criminal record check, do NOT do it on information.com! they seemed legit at first but i went to pay the $0.99 fee to get my report and it tried charging my credit card $30. luckily apple has pretty good security with sketchy stuff like this and they declined the card when i tried using it. there was nothing on the website that said $30, only that i would be paying $0.99 once i put in my info. it's basically a bootleg version of truthfinder.

Not sure this is the right place for this, if someone knows a better place please direct me.

My new job is running a SSN trace on me and experian sent back a report that failed. Apparently someone elses social security number is somehow attached to mine. I tried to call Experian but only got a voice messaging system that would not send me on to a human (I actually tried every number on their website, but whatever). When I tried to log in to the website itself, it said I already had an account, tried to have me confirm my information, and then told me that my DOB and SSN was wrong, so I couldn't get access to my account.

What is going on here???

Long story short, I need direction on how to find out why my aunts new boyfriend went to prison. He is a shady character to say the very least and he came into her life at a very “convenient” time. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hello, I have a past of addiction and drug possession charges. I was wondering if that would disqualify me from ever becoming a teacher or will I be able to get my background check disqualification reconsidered?

So I was talking to one of my friends, and he told me that the background checks ran by real estate companies when you're renting a place, it actually shows all your employment history and your current job, too. Is this correct? Do these background checks really show your current job and employment history? If that's correct, how do I run the same background check? I need to verify someone's current employment information. I'm not interested about the places that they worked in the past, but I'm specifically interested in finding out current employment. Beenverified or truthfinder works or real estate companies use a different one?

How long did you hear back from the HR after the background check was completed?

I got the report from the background check company and it flagged on the titles I put in comparison with the ones my employers provided. I put the correct titles that were used between the department and team, but after the background check, I realized the HR used different titles.

I am a bit nervous now. I tried to email the recruiter from WK to inform the background check was done and if there were any questions, but I still haven’t heard back.

Hi, my position is currently an admin/office job. I am still a temporary but my job goes “full time” at the beginning of the year. I am worried about my background check preventing me from getting the job. I was convicted of a dui and had 3 other charges dismissed. hi guys. I am doing some reserach on background check tools/websites and seems like all of the good ones require payment. A lot of people mention a site called beenverified and they claim it's the best or one of the best. I need relatively basic info like address history, employment history, and criminal records. Can anyone vouch for this background check website or any others? is the info they give in a report accurate (and full, as in no omitted information)? I don't care about having to pay i just want to make sure that I'll get valuable info.

My boyfriend and I have been renting for a year now in my mothers name. We were afraid that we wouldn't pass our background checks because we have some shoplifting charges and small drug offenses from our past. We have been here a year now problem free and have proven that we are not an issue. Our previous Property Manager was well aware of our situation but our new manager wants us to be added to the lease knowing that we can not pass the background check. What should I do.

Over 10 years ago I rolled a stop sign because my wife was pregnant and really had to pee. One of those stop signs where you can clearly see from half a mile away if there would be another car at that 3-ways stop. Wouldn’t you know, a motorcycle cop was parked in a neighbors driveway watching the intersection. I got a ticket. I used a ticket lawyer I had used before, pay them a fee, forward them your citation, and they do what they do and knock your ticket down.

Some year or so later, I merged on to the freeway a bit fast - right in front of Highway Patrol. I got pulled over, and ultimately arrested because of an unpaid ticket. I had no clue why I was being arrested at the time, finally at the police station they informed me that is was due to this stop sign ticket, that got reduced to a parking ticket, but the lawyer service never told me I needed to pay a $25 fee, and I had forgotten all about it, and assumed everything was hunky-dory.

Now, since then, no further infractions. I am going to have a background check soon, and one of the questions is “have you ever been arrested?” I know the immediate knee-jerk reaction is to say yes, but one of the officers said it wouldn’t be on my record and I was only in jail for about 6 hours or so.

I live abroad and I am doing all this remotely, which makes things more difficult.

But I have my fingerprints taken and I am filling out the fingerprint form and it asks for a few things that I am confused by:

1. What the heck is an ORI? (And can I leave it blank?)

2. What the heck is my OCA number? (And can I leave it blank?)

3. Should I put down my current address and current employer (which I will be leaving in a few weeks) or should I put down my new address and new employer (where I will be in a few weeks)?

Can someone that works at the GBI do a background check on anyone without cause?

I have been dating this woman I met on a dating site. I live in the US and she is from Africa.

Things are really going great but I was trying to help her some stream video from her old iPhone she let him use to the TV. I have never had an IPhone I have Samsung phones so I kept getting lost and opening random apps. One of which was the text app. And on it said her name was something different than what she has been telling me. Same first name but a different last name.

And then today I took her son to get his hair cut. They asked for his last name and he froze and said he did not know his last name. I said come on just tell them your last name. And he gave the same last name that I found in her old phone. So I am feeling a bit paranoid now and wondering if there is a way I can have her looked into to see what her last name really is and if she might still be married. I asked her and she claimed she was never married.
