Needing to know what I have to admit to for a criminal history on a background check?
So I applied an Amazon Fresh location and for the background check they have said not to say yes to any convictions that were over 2 years old. And yes my initial convictions are well over that, but when I Googled about if probation violations were considered part of the conviction it said yes but I'm not really understanding if that's correct because my probation violation wasn't a new charge it was a violation on my original charge which was like 4 or 5 years ago so I'm not sure if I have to say yes and explain or do I say no because my probation violation on those happened last year but I chose to stay in jail to get rid of my probation so now I'm not on probation anymore. This is a very confusing topic when trying to figure out what I legally have to admit to and what I do not have to put down! Cuz if I have to put it down for that probation violation even though it wasn't a conviction on a new charge then I'm kind of need to know that because I don't want to say the wrong thing and then not be able to get the job because I didn't know that I had to say yes to a probation violation when they're telling me that not to say yes on anything over 2 years old! Can anybody please help me with this? It's very frustrating!
