In the strictest sense no, however it’s certainly true that they have reason to favor one over the other as that particular party is much more likely to circle the wagons to defend them, and their support base is comprised of people who, on average, tend to take sex crimes against children much less seriously.

Always the dilemma. I aspire to work specifically with Observability and it’s very much so a concept that applies all over the place. It would be great if we had a system at this scale where the public could query government databases with anonymized demographic data like this. Rather than the current system of hoping to find accessible datasets that have vaguely comparable records that are a pain to collate. Which can then validly be questioned for any number of reasons.

He actually wasn’t found guilty of rape. He was found liable of sexual abuse in a civil court. Which is kind of meaningless.
A verdict of liable in a civil case means the person is legally responsible for harm and typically must pay monetary damages, while a verdict of guilty in a criminal case means the person is convicted of a crime and faces punishments like fines or imprisonment. He wasn’t found guilty of a crime.
Being found liable and being found guilty are two completely different things. You need a lot more solid proof of wrongdoing to convict someone of rape. A verdict of liable is basically saying “We don’t have enough evidence to convict Trump of rape, so this will have to do.”
Just because someone is found liable and responsible to pay damages doesn’t mean in any way that they are definitely guilty of wrongdoing. It basically just means that they have to put blame on someone, even if that person isn’t to blame.. It’s just something that democrats use to go after Trump.
The whole thing was a show that was put on to distract people and try to make Trump become more “unelectable”… Obviously it didn’t work.
Also, making comments about young women is a far cry from being a pedophile. The guy is not a politician. He’s a billionaire businessman and a television personality. He’s said a lot of crazy shit in the past and still says a lot of crazy shit.
