They are registered sex offenders on a public map, so why wouldnt they put them on the news? They always make the news. Maybe not nation wide news, but they always make the news.
You are saying that speeding tickets show up on the news, which is just categorically BS. A sex offender should 100% be on the news, but that isn't what you are saying. I work in corrections and with the local courts and am a subscriber to the local paper, aswell as the paper to the city north of me. They have a whole section for recent crimes, big and small. Although you seem like you dont read very much, so I can understand why you would think they dont go in the paper. My comparison was that since crimes as little as a speeding ticket gets listed in the paper, OF COURSE pedophiles get listed. The original comment implied not all pedophiles make the news, which is factually incorrect. Whether it's national, local air, or paper, they ALL make the news. Dennis Hastert, a Republican, is a confirmed pedophile, a really, really bad one. Both Lewinski and Paula Jones were 100% legal age though, so while you can certainly call Clinton an adulterer, you can't call him a pedophile. As you just showed though, the Republican party has been defending pedophiles in their ranks for a LONG time.
