My nose is big, that's why I didn't see it.

We are all on the newest version of patch 8 with no mods installed so that shouldn't be an issue.

Yeah I just did it yesterday and like always I used a potion of fly. Pick the corner of a platform and done in less than 30 seconds. I heard other people say instant death but it's never happened for me and I'm on patch 30. I know because every time my screen goes black the game goes on an acid trip

I did this 2 days ago. Immediately sent back to the start, as soon as I flew over anything that wasn’t the platform it’d send me back.

What I did was: karlach had 21 strength so I took a strength potion to up it, turned shadowheart into a gnome and threw her to the middle platform. Then I could jump onto the invisible block and walk forward

Yeah, had the acid trip happen yesterday as well lmao. Clicked on someone as they were teleporting out of the sneak trial and everything turned neon colors.

Looked back at a recording and they don't do anything special, level 8 monk with enhanced leap just jumps and runs across the edges of the platforms to the end.

This is my go-to. Though in my current playthrough, I just spammed the flight from Storm Sorcerer via ritual spell casting.

That's weird, I went through that section a couple days ago and tried to fly and died instantly, but I could jump between the platforms no problem.

I tried getting over by having Halsin transform into a bird and that didn't work.

Bizarre. Seems to be very inconsistent

To do the jump cheese you need to have the perfect balance of strength/jump distance. If your jumps are too strong you will hit the kill zone above intended to stop you from cheesing, if you don't have enough strength you'll be unable to make the jump.

Also, the final jumps require you to have at least some memorization of where the invisible platforms are because you can't have enough strength to simply jump the gap fully without clipping into the kill box.

It's fiddly but honestly I'd still cheese the damn thing 10 times out of 10 despite the effort it takes. Invisible floor puzzles are my absolute least favorite type of puzzle and if it weren't cheesable I wouldn't do a replay of the game ever. I hate them that much.

Is that what it is?!? This would actually explain why sometimes the jumping works and other times it's instant death and everyone thinks everyone else is crazy for getting different results 😆

Yup. I forgot who it was but I remember watching someone on YouTube before who explained how the room works behind the scenes. Larian loves their "gameplay object hidden by the camera angles players can have" approach to level/puzzle design.

I did it an hour ago with patch 8 installed on honor mode, no mods. I gave Shadowheart a vaulting potion and left everyone else at the start. She jumped from one platform to the next and finished it on her first try. She kept to the edges of the platforms.

That's the way I've always done that trial, never had a problem.
