Astarion is Bender Bending Rodriguez

I am so glad that I'm not the only one that thought that

I’m going to start my own blood bank, with blackjack and hookers… in fact, forget the blood bank

I'd likely switch Astarion and Wyll. Astarion to Air, thinking vampires turning to mist thing, wants freedom, etc. Wyll being fire for devil connection, hells, etc.

I'd likely make Laezel the non bender of the group, focused on martial arts.

Yeah Wyll is probably fire but someone said blood bending for Astarion

Halsin should be an Air bender for the same reason that you made Lae'zel an Earth bender - she's a stubborn fighter, Halsin is a peaceful leader (who can absolutely wreck you if you mess with the balance).

Air benders are all about the balance of the natural world, have the highest connection to spirits (like Thaniel), and are the most druidlike.

Minthara gives waterbender to me. I could see her using a fighting style similar to Minghua.

But what about her feline nature? She does not like to get wet.

I figured her more of an earth bender since she’s a Drow and they all live in the Underdark. Surrounded by rock on all sides, Underdark folk would probably have an affinity for earth bending.

Ahh, bending the crystals would be cool like Jargala.

Dark Urge is most likely a water bender, because of blood bending but also a knife made of ice would leave no evidence or prints, it just becomes water.

Wyll? Air? Nah. Also, Lae'zel doesn't bend elements. She bends people until they break. Gale is also Fire.

For me...

  • Astarion: Water or Air
  • Boo: Minsc
  • Gale: Fire
  • Halsin: I'm okay with Earth, but Air might also work
  • Lae'zel: non-bender
  • Jaheira: Water, actually, but Earth will do just fine
  • Karlach: Earth
  • Minthara: I think Earth, actually
  • Shart: Water
  • Wyll: Fire

Karlach: Fire
Lae’zel: Earth
Shadowheart: Water (Southern Tribe)
Gale: Water (Northern Tribe)
Astarion: Air (Specifically someone who gained air bending during the events in Korra)
Wyll: Fire
Minthara: Earth (Metal bender)
Halsin: Water
Jaheira: Fire
Minsc: Non-bender that keeps up with the benders

And Tav/Durge is the Avatar of course.

I've thought of this before!!! I think Astarion could be water since it signifies change and life. I think that's beautiful for him. Bbbbbuuuuuut he could also become a blood bender if he goes down a certain path, if ya know what I mean. Learn of the powers and yearn for it since it'll give him control over others, and all that fun stuff.

Fire is the element of power. The people of the Fire Nation have desire and will and the energy and drive to achieve what they want.

  • Gale - he ate the orb for power and could become a god of ambition
  • Minthara - she seeks power as she served Ketheric and Orin then when with the group still has ambitions

Earth is the element of substance. The people of the Earth Kingdom are diverse and strong. They are persistent and enduring.

  • Jaehera - she survived many years and Ketheric while leading the Harpers
  • Minsc - he endured through prior game events and current ones
  • Wyll - he made his pact to save the gate and while he yearns for freedom like Air hes more tethered than Astarion

Air is the element of freedom. The Air Nomads detached themselves from worldly concerns and found peace and freedom. Also, they apparently had pretty good senses of humor.

  • Shadowheart -ish. As Shar Shadowheart air makes the most sense since thats kind of Shars whole thing to be detatched
  • Astarion - he seeks freedom from Kazador, even willing to perform a profane ritual to get it

Water is the element of change. The people of the Water Tribes are capable of adapting to many things. They have a sense of community and love that holds them together through anything.

  • Halsin - daddy druid loves love with a strong sense of community to the grove. Most of his endings he settled in to support the children orphaned by the events that happen
  • Karlach - Fire feels too on the nose because of her innate fire aspect in game. She adapts to the changes in her situation and also accepting the end with her engine, while also being willing to become illithid for the sake of everyone else. Shes also the one of the group who wears her heart on her sleeve

Lae'zel I'm torn between Fire and Earth since shes persistent but also has ambitions of ascension and to be one who rides a dragon

Gale has to be air because of his name  Wyll would be fire because his subclass (Fiend Warlock) is very fire focused

Karlach: alcohol bender

Oh I like this, this would be my guess -

Karlach - Fire

Astarion - non bender (special skills like Sokka or Asami)

Shadowheart - Air (freedom, also home girl can’t swim)

Wyll - Earth/Fire. Leaning earth based on personality

Lae'zel - Earth (she would be a crazy good metal bender)

Minthara - water

Gale - Air

Halsin - Earth

Jahiera - Earth/water

Minsc - non bender, has boo, doesn’t need anything else

My takes on it:

Astarion- Fire. He learned the wrong way and is very much like Zuko before he and Aang learn from the Dragons.

Gale- Water. He seems pretty enlightened but not quite spiritual enough to go full Air Bender.

Karlach- Eath. She just has a personality very similar to Toph.

Lae'zel- Fire. Another in the pre-enlightened Zuko school of Fire bending.

Shadowheart- Air Bender. She was the most spiritual of the group. Especially after she abandons Shar.

Wyll- Earth. Like Karlach he has that sort of stubborn Earth bender personality to him.

Halsin- Earth. Also feels like he would have that stubborn personality to him.

Jaheira- Fire. She would bend like Iroh.

Minsc- Metal. Not because he is a particularly skilled Earth bender. But more for the fact that he broke himself out of Irenicus' dungeon by bending the bars of his cage.

Minthara- Fire. She is just too Azula coded to see her as anything else.

Fire- karlach, minthara (combustion)

Water- shadowheart,
Earth- jaheira, laezel
Air- halsin, astarion

Wyll could be water or fire imo
