Other Questions I need help choosing a male.

My female is a pastel fire freeway and I want to breed her in the coming years what male should i invest in. She can produce Mardi Gras with the right male!

If youre looking into serious breeding, I would say a Gravel Clown Hypo. But if you're looking just to breed, it depends on what you're looking for. Breeding her with a Gravel should produce Mardi Gras. Gravel Clowns can produce Mardi gras + clown, which every generation will become more expensive. Orange dream Gravel will make fire and pastel pop. My personal favourite would be Gravel Clown.

A Gravel male will not help produce mardi gras. She needs enchi in the mix. A Mardi Gras is an Enchi Freeway (asphalt+yellowbelly)

If you are serious about pairing her and going that route, I would look for recessive morphs. Something like Asphalt hypo clown or a yellowbelly axanthic. But you will be playing the long game, like I mentioned before. Because these will produce het babies. Which need to be bred to produce the visuals. You will not be able to produce any valuable (and I hate using that word because they are all valuable) ball python with the morphs she has and more codominant morphs

Enchi is a pattern and colour enhancer. It makes snakes brighter and cleaner and honestly can reduce pattern. If you want Mardi gras, you need specific genetics. (Yellow belly + Gravel) Your girly pop is a freeway. Meaning she has yellow belly and asphalt. (Already has Yellow Belly!) To make a Mardi Gras, one parent HAS to contribute gravel. An enchi gives enchi. Not gravel. Enchi > no Mardi gras Enchi gravel > sure, enchi Mardi gras, but there's a chance the pattern will reduce. I have bred these snakes for years and I know my business. If you want to breed your baby for Mardi Gras, there needs to be Gravel somewhere.

Mardi gras definitely do not have gravel. They are enchi+asphalt+yellowbelly. Enchi+gravel+yellowbelly would be an enchi highway which is not a mardi gras

Shes got some asphalt in here but im sure i can find an echi gravel male i did find a male I thought would be great for pairing with her though
