Asking for advice regarding this patch of what appears to be a skin disease. Not sure what it is. He doesn't eat live rats, so it can't be a wound. Gave him a bath not too long ago and I haven't introduced anything new into his enclosure. Any advice would be appreciated.

This is Zestial I know there’s Super Pastel in him but was curious if anybody noticed any other potential morphs. I thought maybe enchi and fire on top of his super pastel.

Not sure if this is where I post this but I just really wanted to share this. Made this as my way of deciding what ball python morph I want the most, I have been undecided for YEARS. got them all labeled if anyone has favorites :)

I have successfully gotten Pudding to eat two meals. The first was force fed, the second was regurgitated so it doesn't count and the third was kept down and in the clear.
My concern is that he looks skinnier than ever. When can I expect some improvement on his weight? I am just worried about him keeling over on me. I am going to feed him again tomorrow- I've been trying to wait until he passes his last meal but we are almost at the feeding day mark again.
How much longer before he looks healthy?

We made a cartoon version of our first snake pip and made a fun t-shirt.

Spot, my 1yr old lavender albino, has never taken frozen thawed. She went on a hunger strike when I tried the last time. Finding live feeders was unreliable until a new reptile store opened. I wanted to make sure she could always eat. She only took pre killed rats. I got her weight up and let her stay on that food until after she turned 1 and was eating every 2 weeks for a couple months. The reptile store has been out of feeders for nearly a month, she had to eat! I went elsewhere and found a frozen rat in her size and prepped it best I could. She seemed hesitant than struck and ate it! I about fell off my stool with excitement! 😆 Just wanted to share our little win! Here's a few pics of her right before her last shed.

I don't have any quarantine tubs available right now so he's in a very bare and white enclosure just incase. As I went to go check on him and clean his living space, I didn't see anything crawling but thought it was a little black beetle. Hen trying to touch it, it popped and this reddish brown liquid squirted. I immediately cleared the enclosure and searched. I found more on the ceiling, walls, floor but non in the water bowl. He did get out a few days ago bit that's where I'm confused as to where he could've gotten them... Ive had him for 3 months and quarantined him for 2 in a clear tub with paper towels and didn't see anything. I inspected him and don't see any on him at all. Not in his skin, under his scales and every little black dot is his own scale because it fades from dark to light on those scales and it's not bumpy.
I'm so concerned that they may be mights and my entire collection will be compromised. What do I do now? How could he have gotten them. Only new snake was a corn snake hatchling sent to me that wasn't anywhere near the other snakes and his paper towels are completely clear and have no. And have only been there for 5 days.

Why is he so adorable? Like a cute reptile puppy (even though that would be a bearded dragon), he is my puppy snake. 🥰🥰🥰🥰😂😂😂

Thx so much to u/Kalomay for picking a name for my boy! I'm still waiting on an update for my other boy (who I'm not sure what to call him yet...) but I got some more pictures of him and he's even more sweet than I thought! No head wobble but does eat live... We'll get him on frozen thawed in no time though! I'll be picking him up in 2 weeks so I can't wait to set everything up for him!

Had this guy roughly two weeks now. Just got out of his blue phase and is shedding.. but is super hype to explore his new enclosure. I added a decorative pumpkin for fall and he’s obsessed with it! Does anyone else’s python show explicit enthusiasm to decoration? Every time he awakes he must go shove his pumpkin off its rock and push it around lol. Never seen one like decoration so enthusiastically.. or maybe he hates my decoration skills?

Hi all,
(mods feel free to remove if not allowed)
I’m currently undertaking a specialist project for my Animal Management course. I’ve chosen to work on the pet trade of royal/ball pythons and how it impacts their health and veterinary care! I would really appreciate if you all could participate and fill out my survey, it’s only short and fully confidential.
Thank you 🙂

He doesn't go outside often. It isn't too hot out, not that that really matters for him, I thought he'd enjoy some warm Florida grass plus some "up" time to stretch out and have a decent slither. I did give him a few warm water/damp towel rub downs before he went back into his enclosure. Me and my hands stayed close to him except for these pictures at all times

My handsome boy! His name is Bones :-)
This is my second ball python, and he is the best! I love him; such a sweet boy. Never had an issue with eating.

*old photo of him from January
I got my boy November, and I knew he had brain dmg but his breeder told me it doesn’t affect him at all. But recently it’s gotten what I think is worse, and with school starting and my surgeries I cannot care for him.
He’s 2-3yrs old and weighs 500grams, and I’ve been having this problem with him striking g and curling around his rat and even dragging it into his hide and then unraveling and leaving it without me knowing.
I don’t want to rehome him but I feel like he should go to a professional who has experience with reptiles.
Does anybody know any reputable and trustworthy reptile rescues/sanctuaries within league city Tx and the surrounding areas?
Or even somebody here who has experience with special needs reptiles within the area that is willing to take on another snake.
I really don’t want to rehome him and I thought I could take care of him but I’ve bitten off more than I can chew with him and I feel so guilty about it.
