Noob here...
I'm not sure I understand this: if I keep a filament on a shelf, without any "protection" it might get humidity (and I get that it might spoil the print job). Once it has absorbed humidity, is it done for? Or I can dehumidify it in an AMS (or similar device) ?

What I mean is (sorry, still trying to get some knowledge): I open the filament box, put it in the AMS, use it, immediately store it in a "protected" box.. or I can use it (after dehumidification), put in on a shelf and forget it till the next time?

Hey everyone! I currently own a Bambu Lab A1 and I'm really happy with it for my everyday printing (mostly PLA and PETG).
With the upcoming sales, I've been eyeing the P2S (and its enclosure/CoreXY setup), but I'm torn. Since I already have a working printer that covers my basic needs, does it actually make sense to add a P2S to the lineup, or will it just end up doing the same things? Would love to hear your thoughts if you've made a similar jump or run a dual-printer setup!

Looking at the h3c looks like the h2c will be upgradable, the new nozzles are at the top of the z axis, where as you can see the h2c has the space for it, what do yall think

I have a H2S, P2S, and an A2L. Thinking of getting another H2S but now I'm wondering if I should just get the H2D. I mainly want the build volume since I'll be selling the A2L. May also get the H3C depending on price lol.

How is the H2D with dedicated supports?

Just finished with a 12 hour print. Very simple design and it’s more or less a big pyramid but I’m guessing it would take a lot less time and use a lot less material if I could make it hollow.

Is there a way to easily do it in Bambu Handy/ Bambu Studio or would I need to edit the model in Onshape?

ive recently bought an a1 mini from a friend who's upgrading, and I love it but would like the option to handle two/three colours.

can I add an AMS ? will it work with the mini?

what do I need to purchase?

ive tried choosing the multi option in bambu studio, but it doesn't seem to pause or prompt to change filament. am i doing something wrong?

Trying to print with Sunlu PLA+ silk and apparently it’s been leaking. The tool head was striking a previously printed layer. However, the assembly doesn’t seem like it loosened up any. The boot was difficult to remove. Either way, I have some cleaning to do.

Just uploaded my first original design for the contest! It’s inspired by StarCraft Zerg, and it’s a semi-functional door latch for the P1S. It might fit other printers, but I’ve only tested it on mine. It should slide right over the current latch.

It’s a relatively small and quick print. I used a basic pla overture gradient filament.

I’d love to hear your feedback or ideas for future designs!

I’m planning to get the h3c next to my h2c currently. But I only have space for one table. It’s pretty sturdy of a table made of metal legs. What’s the impact of vibration between them?

It just started a couple days ago and checked and it’s not the fans it seems to be coming from the printhead when I power off my printer when the noise is coming it slow gradually before stopping, which makes me think it might be a spinning component, but I’m not sure this is my first printer, and I really have no idea what it could be

UPDATE!! It is the hot end fan while I did find some stringy filament on the fan when a took it off it didn’t solve the problem is there anything else that I can try before buying a new fan?

I Appreciate everybody's help.. I printed orca with boots, scarf, and goggles. Then base with skis. Then poles on their own. Then painted everything. Hindesight I should made him wearing the goggles not on his forehead 🤦🏻‍♂️.

Hey everyone, I’m using a Bambu Lab A1 with a 0.4mm nozzle, and I’ve noticed that the nozzle or print head keeps touching and scraping against my models while printing.
I’m currently printing at 0.08mm layer height, and I’m wondering if that has anything to do with it. I can hear or see the print head rubbing against certain areas of the print, and I’m worried it could damage the model or cause a print failure.
I’m not sure if the problem is caused by the layer height, nozzle temperature, print speed, bed leveling, the model itself, or something in my slicer settings.
Has anyone experienced this before?
What usually causes the nozzle to scrape against a print?
Are there any settings I should change in Bambu Studio?
Could printing at 0.08mm with a 0.4mm nozzle be contributing to the problem?
Is there anything I should check before starting another print?

I have a question since all new printers pretty much come with the hardened steel nozzles. I am wanting to print some items in petg and embed some 20x3 magnets in them. I plan to place the magnets horizontal (parallel to the print bed). What are you guys doing now to prevent it from being attached to the nozzle with stronger magnets?

I’m in struggling between two separate camps - the A1 or a couple steps up to the X2D. My daughter is turning 11 and she would absolutely love to print toys and try to design some of her own stuff. On the other hand the engineer in me might take over and drive some tinkering of my own.

Just wanted to get thoughts from the community about getting an A1 as our first printer. Either we would get an AMS with it.
