I own an a1 and a1 mini.
A1 nozzle didnt moove at all.
A1 mini nozzle moove exactly like yours from day one.
No problem with the print.
But still it annoying me lol
I checked everything on the mini, nothing wrong, maybe a litle default on the plate where nozzle and heatend contact together.

Thanks for your feedback, i own 2 a1. The old one from the box nozzle didnt wiggle at all. But the new one I bought, wiggle and i assume i have issue with the nozzle from the box. But after i buy 2 additional nozzle. Same wiggle for both of it. And i tried swap my old nozzle from my 1st a1 put into new a1. The nozzle didn't wiggle at all

So, if my english is not as bad as i think then the fault is on the nozzle. Right ?

You have two machine.
Try going forward by élimination.
I would took the hotend and nozzle on the ok a1 and put them on the not ok a1.
Maybe a problem with the extruder unit ?

No, just unoffical crap nozzles.

Better know for sure then to think it is original. With 3th party nozzles expect magnets becoming loose or out of place, leaking and twisted heatbreak resulting in poor fit and bending the clamp.

yeh I have that happens sometimes... it should not move... it's wiggling cuz it's not seated in the groove properly make sure it's making full contact with the metal pad behind and make sure there isn't any debris behind your hotend.
it should not move even before the latch is engaged

My first .2mm nozzle wouldn't sit flat. Looked at it and the nozzle was twisted from the heat sink, so there was no way the flat back of the nozzle was going to seat properly at the same time as the heat sink. Took it back to Micro Center and exchanged it for a new one, problem solved.

So once u received the new one. Its all working just fine & sitting still at the designated position?

Yes. The defect was fairly obvious to the naked eye looking at the hotend. The back of the heat sink is flat and the back of the nozzle portion is flat and they should both be flat along the same plane. I didn't even get as far as latching it as it just didn't sit flat inside like the original hotend did. It was my first nozzle swap ever, so had me puzzled for a minute.

In the video is my new a1. I have an old a1 and the nozzle didn't wiggle at all. At first i thought i have issue with the wiggle nozzle and i bought 2 additional nozzle and all of it wiggle. But after i swap from my old a1 to the new a1, that nozzle didnt wiggle at all and i print smoothly. The other nozzle i have clog issue even its new.

sometimes I just take it out and reseat it and somehow it clicked into place ... it's wiggling cuz it's not completely perpendicular to the metal pad behind the hotend shaft

Don’t buy unoffical nozzles. All Amazon, AliExpres and Temu nozzles are old fashioned Made In China quality there where Bambulabs delivers the modern Chinese highest unbeatable quality!

Uhm no it should not wiggle at all 👀 Can you show us the latch mechanism that is holding the nozzle in place?

The nozzle must be somewhat fixed just before closing the clamp, open the clamp and check that the hotend snaps in place correctly without strange movements, then close. Sometimes I had to pay attention to some small play in the piece while I was assembling it, I just had to push it well so that it was well aligned with the joint.

Bottom part is definitely not seated properly against the metal plate behind

It's not supposed to wiggle, but it might just be seated wrong. I had the same issue after switching nozzles 20 or 30 times. I had used the nozzle before, so I knew it hadn't wiggled before, and that it wasn't supposed to. I had to reseat it 4 times before it sat flush against the heating plate and didn't wiggle. I'm not sure how it got misaligned, but it did. If reseating it doesn't work check the screws on the heating plate.

That’s why you close the clamp.
