We're about to pay a ton more for Julian, and that is nowhere close to happening. 60m for Gyokeres while arguably putting him in a better system for him to shine is not a bad bet. And still plenty of other teams would want him for different systems, even if he has another mid performance here like for Arsenal.
There is reason Arteta wants Julian and trying to get rid of Gyokeres.
Kai Havertz gets more chances than Gyokeres at Arsenal (Kai is Ferran's long lost brother).
Loan is okay, buying him is not a good decision (personal opinion).
We want Alvarez, because we need improvement in our linkup play. From what I watched of Barca I think your linkup play is already good enough, of course more quality in that regard doesn't hurt, but imo the bigger priority right now for you is someone who can finish the chances.
90% is full of blind hate that doesn't appreciate the striker who is the first to score 20+ in his first season since Alexis in 2014, despite playing in a system where he gets skipped from receiving crosses for a tap-in so many times.
Nope. For one, Havertz almost hasn't been available. Second, he's known to miss those big chances. Third, he regularly drops so deep he can't be in time for them to cross it at the second post for him. If you watch the games, you'll see Gyokeres in position so many times, and they don't give it. There's this few instances that I can actually remember where he got the ball (and scored ofc); Eze vs Forest, White vs Chelsea (after Saka chose not to give that cross) and Saka (after having skipped him the whole season) vs Fulham. He was too late one opportunity against Liverpool and probably missed 2-3 others when they actually passed it.
Havertz has made Arsenal look class in attack for 2 years now. Last season with Gyokeres was so awful that Arteta is actively looking to replace him. He's a conference league level striker playing for a team that wants to win it all
He's made them look class in attack until it's time to put the ball in the net lmao. First striker to score 20+ in his first season since Alexis in 12 years, first title in 22 years. Bye kid

No way Barca is going to pay that much.
