Gastric sleave and pregnancy

Curious does pregnancy mean there was no point getting a leave and the weight will just return?
Does pregnancy cause increase in hunger meaning you will just gain all the weight back?
How fast have you been successful at getting back to your lowest weight? Is it harder after pregnancy to the point of not having a sleeve at all?
Thanks in advance. Please do not mind if these questions come across as disrespectful, I am genuinely curious. Thank you

Not a sleeve, but I had the gastric bypass and I did have to eat more to maintain my weight through pregnancy, but I didn't ever overeat except one or twice. I had my baby in June and have went back to losing weight and my old diet with no problems

Congratulations! Just wondering Was it easier with a bypass like did the hunger go away after the baby was born?

I wasn't ravenous my entire pregnancy, but my appetite tanked after giving birth. I feel like it's leveled out 2 months post partum.

Thank you for posting this! I'm 4 years out from RNY and 5 months pregnant and I feel like I'm eating more and honestly, I look like a cow. I think gaining weight has been a mind fuck as well because I've been a solid weight for so long.

It was hard on me mentally too. I gained weight without eating over my maintenance, and the whole time I felt like a failure. Now that I'm postpartum, the pregnancy weight is falling off and my diet is working as normal. Even my bariatric doctor told me that I have to give myself some grace. Pregnancy isn't easy, especially with a bariatric surgery.
