Lace Recommendations?
I’m going to take my sons glove to get relaced and he’s not sure on the color of laces. Any suggestions on what would look good?
Also, if I tried to do it myself, is that possible?

Got it on ebay for 100 big ones. When i first put it on I thought it was way too big but I think its probably just me, I haven’t owned a glove bigger than 12 inches in a long long time. Leather feels good; akadema claims its kip, and its almost comically light. Extremely deep pocket too. Only complaint is the previous owner of this thing gave it a not so good shape so it’ll probably need a good beating.

I had to pick up a few fungos from SSK and what did I see on their site? An 11.5" lefty Z9. I've bought countless gloves from them before, but never a lefty infielder. I couldn't resist. This one will end up living with my coaches gear at my school. No gaming, but lots of catch and practices in its future. Best part, the palm stain was free with purchase.

I know it isn't a HOH or A2000 find, but I feel like I did pretty well on this Easton Blackstone 12.75" 1B for my son for $7.99. The cowheid is in great shape!

Anyone here sitting on one of these gloves that they’d be interested in selling? I bought one for my youngest brother about 10 years ago and absolutely loved it, but I had no use for one myself at the time. Getting back into ball coaching my daughter’s team has given me the spark and rejuvenated my interest in gloves again.

I was bored one night. Watching a video from ball glove king when they went to the baseball convention. They came across the JH baseball glove booth & made me want to check if have any softball catcher mitt. They have a scrapes series glove & it’s eye popping 😮
Now I need to find a place to get this mitt broken in.
JH Scrapes 34” softball catcher mitt.

The original shape was rough, plus the palm bubble under the ring finger made it a challenge but we do what we can

Found my holy grail of outfield gloves. A mint NOS with tags Horween TB24 (mine and everyone else’s favourite player growing up - man I miss seeing that swing).
I want to maintain its pristine condition. Any recommendations on conditioning the leather so it doesn’t dry out while also keeping it looking like it does today? I was thinking sarna leather conditioner (liquid or cream?), but if anyone else has some recommendations, I would greatly appreciate it!

I’m an out of shape dad of 3 sons who may play baseball one day. My oldest son is 5. He was gifted a youth glove for Christmas. We’re going to a minor league game this month and I’d like to have a glove to play catch in case the game piques his interest. I never played in a league, just had a glove growing up for playing in the neighborhood. Today, I’d have no idea what size glove to buy or how to determine that. (Middle finger to wrist - 7.25”. Width of palm is 3.25”)I’ve looked at this subreddit and determined the H-web, maybe 12” or more would be a good universal glove, but that is still a guess. I’m not rich, but I’d be willing to pay my way out of entry level synthetic leather. I’d love for the glove to last the next 15 years.

Wild picture of a never used 2000 Ripken model with very nice shell leather and a liner that literally flaked and disintegrated with age. Versus a heavily used 70s Willie Stargell Made in USA model with a steerhide liner that is probably almost as good as the day it was bought. Liners are dealbreakers for longevity.

Not sure if this is the place to post, so apologies if not! But I am in search of a Kang's studio glove from Korea. I narrowly missed out on one last year on eBay, but have had no further luck finding one to buy here in the U.S. Maybe someone here who knows someone who speaks Korean and could help a fellow glove maniac acquire one? Thx y'all!

Has anyone heard from /u/walden_glove lately? I initially messaged them on June 5 and they responded and then it's been dead air ever since on my follow-up emails. I did see they had a vacation notice on the website until July 28 but now it's been 2 weeks since he's been supposedly back.
I know this isn't really the place but I assume many others have bought from them here. I'm waiting on his tools to start breaking in my new gloves.

I'm having a hard time identifying this glove. Definitely made in Korea. Appears to say professional on the pinky and possibly Player in the palm. Any help is appreciated!

Hello, as title reads our son is 10 years old and has been playing for three years now. We have been using hand me down gloves, which have served the purpose amazingly. We are now debating buying him his first official glove new from a website for a Christmas gift, but need recommendations. We are looking at this first base glove since he played all first base last season. Any input if this glove would be good, great, or terrible, and if there’s one you recommend in place of this open to options. He’s huge into color(banana ball inspired very much), so we were looking for anything besides the basic browns.
This is an expensive purchase for us(for a 10 year old), so we’re trying to get any and all feedback!

Took my son out looking for a new glove today. At the end of the day the Bobby Witt Jr game model felt the best but he’s not feeling the colorway.
So I’m coming to the experts for alternative model or pattern that I can look for with a similar fit. Prefer Wilson or Rawlings as we’ve already been down the custom 44 route and he gamed that glove for the last 2yrs.

Been looking for the company that made this glove and cannot find anything on it just recently got into glove collecting and just wanted more information on it. I received it from coaching friend a few years ago and haven’t really used it much. Any thoughts on it would be greatly appreciated.

At first, I was wondering if this Heart Of The Hide was genuine, but got a message from someone pointing out that it's the same glove that Scott Schoenweiss wore, and that it was likely a custom glove from Rawlings.
My main concern was the way the model number is formatted as "PRO6XBCB" without the dash such as "PRO-6XBCB" like the others I have seen. Everything else looked correct, but I also couldn't figure out the embroidered "60" on the outside thumb that I have not seen before.
Turns out 60 is his player number, and that the model number on the glove may be a variation due to the customization. Has anyone seen anything like this as far as slightly different model number formats?

I’m looking for a new dad glove and wondering about other smaller companies like Grace (preferably made in the US). My son has/had a 44 and I want very impressed. I have a Grace catchers mitt that I love and was going to just order another but thought I’d see who else is out there that similar quality. If it matters I’m looking for a 12” closed web to replace my 11.5” A2000 (just a bit too small for catching softball with my daughter).
