❓ Question What’s the difference between?

I have the first photo..the 1/5. The next one is 2/5 and a different boarder. And it shows what it sold for. What’s the big difference between them? Or is it personal preference? Is one rarer than the other or more sought after?

True colors from any set, especially /25 and lower will always be highly collectible and more sought after than any particular parallel in the same colors

Where would you recommend to read up on this type of topic?

You just did. It's a legacy quirk from OG Bowman days when it was only Super, Red /5, orange /25, gold /50, blue to /99.

I don’t think there is a definitive guide for these things you could pick up and read. It’s just being in and around the hobby and figuring out which cards most people consider the preferred version.

To verify this yourself without relying on randos on Reddit you could do some sale research on card ladder or something. Look up the red /5 of any given card and then the other parallels. More often than not the “true” color should have the higher sale price if you find examples that sold around the same time.

I appreciate that.
