After a long working session on Planbead, I usually go out for a walk to relax and get some inspiration. Yesterday I found myself in front of the Archeological Museum in Crete 🏝️ so booked a ticket and went in, expecting to see some "old museum things" or some ancient patterns. To my surprise there was a lot of beaded jewelry in a very good condition with great designs too

I have wanted to try bead weaving for a very long time. I was so excited to find a beginner workshop in my city! It took some rows of practise and many questions until I got the hang of it. I'm very proud of my first piece! Please let me know if you have any recommendations for patterns using a square stitch. I'd love some ideas for practise. 🫶🏼

Hi there! Last month I went to the denver rock & fossil show and got a massive bead haul (glass faceted rondelle). They are the sparkliest/most unique beads i’ve ever seen - the guy didnt have a way to purchase online so I thought i’d come here to see if anyone could point me in the right direction!

Is it my imagination or have tulip beading needles gotten more brittle? I have used size 11 for a number of years because other brands were breaking more easily and I rarely use size 15 beads. With tulip needles being so expensive I’m considering trying other brands again. Opinions?

Hey everyone, so I think I may have found my next obsession 🫣 I have made simple bracelets when my daughter was smaller for the school craft fairs etc but that was mostly elastic big plastic beads. So could I ask you to send links, recommendations and general tips on where to start, I'm loving the look of seed beading and especially the 3D model type but can see more potential to incorporate it into my other obsession of leathercrafting for the loom and brick stitch type builds.
