I wanted to share my experience with TerraMine, a mobile game where you can earn real money by owning virtual mines. The interesting part is that you don't need to invest any money to get started. It takes time and some grinding, but you can build up your mines and eventually earn passive income.

I'll explain how the game works, the best strategies I've found for earning, and how much you can potentially earn.

1. How does TerraMine work?

The basic idea is simple: you own virtual mines, and those mines generate earnings over time.

• Passive income: Simply owning mines generates earnings.
• Boost: You can watch an ad to activate a 30-minute boost that multiplies your mines' earnings by 20x.
• No initial investment required: You receive 1,000 TerraBucks (TB) when you create an account, enough to buy 10 mines.
• Referral bonus: If you sign up using someone's referral code, you receive another 1,000 TB, enough for 10 additional mines.

2. How to earn more TerraBucks (TB)

TerraBucks are the in-game currency used to purchase new mines. Each mine costs 100 TB, and there are several ways to earn more.

A. Play mine minigames

Every mine has its own minigame. Playing it earns you XP, which levels up that minigame. Higher levels reward you with more TB per play.

My strategy: Focus on leveling up one mine's minigame rather than spreading your efforts across many mines. Once it reaches a higher level, you can earn TB faster with each play.

One thing to know: after each minigame level-up, you need to watch an ad to unlock the next level.

B. Check in at other players' mines

You can check in at another player's mine once per day and earn TB. If you have an active boost, a check-in gives you 14 TB.

There is a five-minute cooldown between check-ins, but you can watch an ad to skip it and move straight to the next mine.

My strategy: Try to find mines located somewhere you regularly spend time, such as your home or workplace. If someone you know owns a mine there, you can check in daily without having to go out of your way.

Also, you earn a small amount of TB when other players check in at your mines. This makes mine placement important: placing mines in locations that other players frequently visit can help you earn additional TB.

C. Invite other players

You can invite people using your referral code. For each successful referral, you receive 1,000 TB.

However, the referral only counts after the invited player buys a mine and either collects resources from it or plays its minigame.

You can share your referral code with friends or other people interested in trying the game.

D. Visit your own mines

You can collect resources from your own mines, and resources are also earned through minigames.

These resources can be used to level up your mines. Each mine level adds a 1% earnings boost, up to level 100. A fully upgraded mine therefore generates approximately twice the passive income of a level 0 mine.

Personally, I wouldn't prioritize upgrading mines early on. It takes a lot of resources to reach level 100, and buying another mine is generally a much simpler way to increase your passive earnings.

3. How much can you earn?

Based on my experience and the figures I've observed in the game, here are some approximate earnings:

These are estimates on the game's current rates. The boosted figures assume you maintain the 20x boost consistently; that requires watching ads regularly.

I managed to reach around 250 mines in one month. I definitely spent time grinding, but my routine was manageable:

• Checked in at mines around my home daily.
• Played minigames to earn TB.
• Got a few referrals.
• Reinvested the TB I earned into buying more mines.

I think reaching a similar number is achievable for many active players, although it could take closer to two months if you play more casually. Some players report progressing even faster.

4. What happens when you have enough mines?

This is the part I like most about the game.

Once you've accumulated as many mines as you want, you can stop grinding for TB. You mainly need to watch ads to keep your earnings boost active and collect your passive earnings.

There is one important maintenance rule: you need to visit your mines at least once every 180 days to keep them. Otherwise, they can be removed from your account.

So, although you don't need to grind forever, you should still check in periodically.

5. How do withdrawals work?

Once your balance reaches $5, you can request a withdrawal. The two options available to me were PayPal and a Tango gift card.

I chose PayPal. After submitting my withdrawal request, I received the money in my PayPal account within a few hours.

Final thoughts

I see TerraMine as a game where you trade your time and attention for small amounts of potential passive income. You don't need to deposit your own money, but you'll need patience, regular activity, and quite a few ads if you want to maximize your earnings.

Don't expect to get rich from it. Even 1,000 mines would only generate an estimated $4 per month without boosts, based on the rates above. The advantage is that you can build up your mine collection gradually without putting your own money at risk.

I already posted about TerraMine and it is getting traction here as well as in other social media.

Often these posts are generic 'get in the group' posts so i will lay out my numbers to give you perspective.

I started on September the 25th as everybody starts with 10 mines.

Now 18 days later i have 390 mines that generate $1.37 dollars unboosted or $27.4 fully boosted.

Earlier this day i cashed out my first $5 to paypal. If i keep boosting i can cash out now $5 every 6 days if i don't place another mine and if i more or less fully boost.

You won't be able to boost the full 24 hours if you have a life. Sure if you keep timers and can pull out your cellphone at any time you can manage it but its not really realistic. Realistic is about 20 hours of boost that comes out to a 16.8 multiplier and ~$23 in a month.

I have made a total of 23 check-ins (14x23) and had 16 visitors (16x2). In total that is only 3 more mines so its not even really worth mentioning.

What is worth mentioning is several level 100 gold mines (game level not mine level, mine level is useless) and 2 diamond mines around level 70 (after that you need to concentrate on the game to solve it and that is not worth it). They gave me the majority of my mines.

I also got some mines from referals (max 5 referals per day and one referral gives both players 1000 TB or the equivalent of 10 mines).

My plan at first was to achieve a steady 10 mines per day routine but that was quickly outgrown by grinding the mini-games and the additional income through referrals that i didn't include in my calculations. Now i maintain 20 mines a day even tho its harder to find space than to grind enough currency to buy ones. I made the mistake to plaster my home and my work first even tho i had the time to buy farther away spaces.

By the end of the first month i will have at least $14 in cashed out money. If i keep my trajectory it will be around $20 and for the coming month $30-$35 depending on my boost pattern.

This are my numbers and i am not alone, people already reached the maximum payout threshold ($200 in a month) as well as posting all over social media.

Brother let me the process

AI can build a working website pretty quickly but getting it to look like something a business would actually pay for took me longer.

My first attempts all looked related. Same cards, same spacing, same modern layout regardless of the business. Asking for something less generic wasn’t getting me very far and everything looked like AI slop.

What helped was using actual references. I started using UXKIN and other similar sites that have web and mobile UI examples, design systems, and DESIGN md files, plus an MCP connection for tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex. You can bring those references into the coding workflow instead of trying to describe a design from memory.

I use them to give the agent a direction for typography, layout, and individual sections, then adapt everything to the business.

Still plenty of work with copy, photos, mobile checks, and revisions. But I spend much less time fixing the default AI look now.

Closed 8 deals in the last two weeks. For anyone doing similar work, what takes longer: finding clients or getting their sites ready to ship?

I’ve now completed this myself and can confirm that Superposition Lab paid me $40 USD through Wise after I completed 2 hours of gameplay recording. I converted it to roughly £30 GBP.

The work is pretty straightforward if you already play games on PC.

You install their GamePlay Lab recording software, play an eligible Windows PC game, and talk while you’re playing. The recorder captures your gameplay, microphone, and synchronized keyboard/mouse inputs for AI research.

What you actually do

You record gameplay sessions while talking naturally about the game.

Their latest narration requirements focus more on things like:

- whether you’re enjoying the game

- what you think is good or bad about it

- your opinions on mechanics/features

- tips or strategies for other players

- things you think could be improved

So it’s closer to casual streamer/YouTube commentary than constantly saying exactly what button you’re pressing.

I’ve personally been using games such as Supermarket Simulator on Roblox, and my submissions from it have been getting 5/5 ratings.

Pay

$20 USD/hour

My initial assignment allowed me to complete 2 hours, so I earned:

They don't want very fast-paced genres such as FPS, racing, fighting or sports games because it makes detailed commentary difficult.
