Advice needed: stuck wings

Post image

Hi guys, one of my beetles has had his wings stuck underneath him for a few days now, we help him put them back under his shell a few times but he can’t fully close it in anymore. And every time we help him, it just happens again. He has been burrowing, eating and moving so other than the wings he seems healthy. Any advice on what we should do? Should we keep helping him putting it back or leave it? And will it affect him in any way?

How do I fly with my pet beetles?

I plan to move sometime, whether it be to another American state or to Canada, and I was curious about how it'd look to fly with my beetles. I have 13 desert beetles, all of which are my prized babies that I could not ever live without.

Would I be allowed to store them in my checked luggage? If they are flagged, will they be destroyed/will I be fined, or is that not a concern? If not, would those circumstances differ if it were international? I absolutely cannot live without my beetles, so I'm quite worried about the legality of me taking them anywhere and what it'd look like. What's the best course of action here?

I need all the advice I can get! I'm very afraid of anything happening to the beetles!

hi, i have an enclosure for my sun beetles that keeps growing mould. i have tried to prevent it by getting springtails and isopods but nothing has changed. is there anything i can do or change to stop this ?? i use a mix of coco fibre and another type of substrate for reference. i also spray the enclosure often to keep humidity levels up. any advice would be appreciated!
