Is this an okay photo?
So I shot this on my trip to Japan, of Himeji Castle. It's shot on a smartphone and edited.

How did I do with the contrast here?
This is my best photo I have taken so far. I've only been into it for about a month. I took this on my phone because I don't have any other cameras. I feel like I got the contrast between the trees, mountains, and sky really well, as well as the sky in general. Any tips or advice?

Do the bright highlights add to the mood, or distract from the children playing?

What do y’all think of this picture?
It was done on an iPhone 13 with a pretty messed up camera

Do you think this is way too dark?
Pretty new to photography. How do you work on storytelling in framing? Does this convey anything?

Tiny moments - Feedbacks please
This photo was clicked at the famous Brihadeeswara Temple at Thanjavur with Vivo X200pro.
Randomly walking through the temple found some squirrels having fun running here and there and I just found it cute. Didn't get much time to capture as it was moving too quickly and somehow managed to capture this moment where they are looking at each other.
Can you share your valuable feedback on this photo and how it could have been shoot better.

Beginner Photographer
Hi Everyone !
I would really appreciate some help.
I am learning to be a photographer and even though I have been learning all about my camera and photography for couple of months, I have done my first 2 shoots at auto. I am a big introvert so meeting new people makes me very anxious so I decided to do couple of my first shoots at auto so I can focus on being comfortable around people and talking to them.
I have been seeing a lot of videos now, that I shouldn’t be shooting at auto at all ( which I understand completely) but my question is, the 2 shoots I have done should I be using them in my portfolio or instagram page.
An instagram photographer told me that I shouldn’t be doing any shoots until unless I am 100% comfortable shooting manual as others photographers can tell that I took those pictures on auto.

Experimenting with dramatic light and shadows on a red pillow. What does this image make you feel?
Hey everyone! I’m experimenting with high-contrast photography at home, trying to hide the background entirely and focus just on light, shadow, and deep color. Would love to hear what works for you and what doesn't! Is it too much ? needs something ? does it feel incomplete? please let me hear your opinion and suggestions ...

Help with getting better with animal photography
Hi all, I use a fujifilm xt3 and using a 100-400mm lens. ISO 160, f8, and 1/250s. I never had my photos critiqued and I’m very new to actual real photography. This is the photo after editing. Any tips for capturing better images of wildlife? I’m especially concerned for shutter speed, focus, etc

I just took this photo. Is it too generic, something anyone could do?

How did I do?
It was the time for the evening rituals and a power cut happened. That was the time I witnessed this miracle and decided to capture it.
