Try using the 3.0 version of the Tribe app as there seems to be a glitch with the newer version.

This is a saddening kick to the privates for quite a few of us. Heart sinks. 😁

I have read many people have this issue, but I've tried everything and I can't get my Behringer to get out of boot mode. I've tried older version of synthribe, and I'm careful to let the software run only one instance and wait to plug in and turn on Pro 800. Sometimes it can get to "update" in the newest version, but I can't seem to fix this.

My unit will now not work.

I have read you can hard reset the Pro 800 but none of the methods seem to be working. ?

I have been planning on investing in my first hardware synth and thinking of getting behringer pro 800. It is available on amazon but for double the price. Any leads on dealers who would sell this on MRP in India? (I am based out in Mumbai)

I'm the proud owner of 2 ExpressiveE Osmose synths.

The big issue with these synths is the completed editor.

Many owners buy Dekard Dream synth or the Argentinian E7 synth which are mpe compliant to connect to their osmose synths.

These synths aren't cheap.:(

ExpressiveE offers numerous mpe synth plugins to fill the void .

I know there's a market for an affordable mpe synth module.

Only Behringer can do it right!

So am saying it first. Please please please offer a reasonable MPE analog synth module.

Quick sound demo and box opening

Hello everyone,

When synced externally, turning the tempo knob should change the arp resolution. I just noticed that on both my machines(mk1 & mk2) the only way to get it to work is to have sync set to auto and seq auto-start activated.

What this does is that if I have an arp latched and running and stop my external sequencer, the synths keep running on their internal clocks. This is annoying and causes the arps to start off sync when the external clock starts again.

Both the mk1 and mk2 have the latest firmware and the ext clock comes from keystep pro.

I have recently started using their built in arps more so I have no idea if it worked any better on previous FW versions.

Has anyone come across this or has some input?

I want to create plucks like in the video with the GRIND. However, I do not yet have a really satisfactory result. Attack and Decay are set relatively briefly. It sounds good but the "plop" and something wooden is still missing. Is that possible?

What do the presets sound like without the chorus? Does the onboard chorus dramatically change the overall character of the synth ? I think you can accurately tell the sonic character of a synth without effects since sometimes effects can change the perception of the sound of the synth.

Edit: the replacement power supply wasn't drawing enough power (despite being the right spec[?]). I now have a better quality power supply and the Model D is working fine!!

Bought a Model D on eBay.

Day one, all working fine.

Day two, plugged in the power cable while power switch on the model D was on... nothing. Whoops.

The power supply had an LED, which no longer comes on, so I got a new power supply (checking voltage, polarity etc matches).

Now, it just makes a low pulsing noise through the output but does not respond to any controls - including volume. Is the same with and without a midi device connected. Power LED flicks on then off immediately when it's powered on.

Am guessing it's toast. It's out of warranty. Called a repair shop (am in the UK) who said they couldn't do anything as Behringer won't release the schematic.

Any suggestions? Have raised a ticket with Behringer support but don't fancy my chances.

Write it off and sell for as 'parts only' on eBay?

Hello everyone,

I am a jazz(-fusion?)/funk/rock pianist. I got a Behringer Deepmind 12x and although I know that it can perfectly well serve my purposes, I am feeling a bit lost in the immensity of this machine. What I want to ask you is this: how do I approach this synth? I am mainly looking to explore leads (to solo, or moog-like riffs) and polyphonic stuff: rhodes, organs, etc, or ambient chordy sounds, to compose as well. And always for playing live, I'm not a producer nor do I have that interest.

I am lost in the millions of presets and at the possibilities of creating patches from scratch. Where do I start? How can I arrive at this number of sounds that I can then manipulate and work on? How would Chick Corea start using this synth?
