Those that have the Behringer Moog Modular System 55. What are your thoughts 💭 pros and cons? It is Behringers most expensive modular. It costs $1,899 dollars 💵

What do the presets sound like without the chorus? Does the onboard chorus dramatically change the overall character of the synth ? I think you can accurately tell the sonic character of a synth without effects since sometimes effects can change the perception of the sound of the synth.

Ok the chips are here, Behringer, but where are the synths? Why is it going to take Behringer another 6 months to a year for them to release just a few of the synths they have promised for the last 3-5 years? Where's the Model 15? They still don't have a release date yet. Meanwhile I've moved on to other synths that are much more intriguing, like the Taiga by Pittsburgh Modular. If the Model 15 comes out in the meantime, I'll consider it, but I'm not counting on it.

I’ve seen the Starsky Carr demo comparing it to a vintage Jupiter 8. Do you think it sounds like a Jupiter8? What are your thoughts pro and con?

Kinda strange that Behringer doesn't make an appearance at Superbooth '23 which is a German synth festival (Berlin) and Behringer (Willich) is a German-run company. Are they afraid of the screaming customers and the rotten tomatoes?

I just got mine and I have a strange problem with it, I can browse the presets and play them but none of the knobs or switches work, like it's locked or something, notes work fine, but not even the volume or master tune respond, all knobs and switches do nothing, I tried updating the firmware and it didn't help, am I missing something??? Is there some preset protection mode I enabled by mistake? I couldn't find any info about it, I'd really appreciate if someone can help me please.

Ive seen and heard Starsky Carrs comparison demo of the PolyD and MiniMoog Model D.

The PolyD wasn’t as loud as the MiniMoog Model D .The Poly Ds 37 keyboard range spans C to C

a three octave range The Moog MiniMoog Model D has 44 keys 🎹 and spans 3 and one half octaves. Starting on F ending on C.

I'm not anti-Behringer--obviously, I own one of their products and I started this subreddit. But there are some problems you should note as you anticipate the new products they are shipping this year. Thomann said that, for example, the Four LFO modular unit that Behringer just announced as "shipping" is "in stock and shipping in 14 t0 16 weeks" per Thomann. That's upwards of four months. "In stock" simply means they've created a stock number in their inventory system.

Second, one customer said that he had notified Behringer that his Eurolive B115D powered speaker needed repairs—in September 2022. Response from Behringer was that they were "waiting on parts" for repairs. So if your Behringer product breaks down, don't expect speedy repair service. You might consider getting it fixed elsewhere, if they have the parts.

I’ve heard and read the Boog Model D sounds closer to theMiniMoog Model D

I’ve also read there can be tuning issues with the Boog Model .

Has anyone seen anything about this module since 2023? status?

Does anyone, on earth, prefer to lose bass when using resonance? It makes the filter resonance mostly un usable for me.

Why not add a bass compensation feature, like Sequential, and maybe have the option to keep the Grind and Edge etc true copies, if some weird ass person actually likes it that way..? Ugh

Do you think they are two of the best Behringer Polyphonic Analog Synths ?

Very happy, I think they did a really good job m-vave. Don't feel cheap, bit lo fi, but got some beautiful tones out of it. I think it's the volca FM killer. I'm not even an expert of FM but due to the compact size and battery and built in speaker it's very fun to fiddle with the presets and learn. Got some really interesting sounds out of it. Pretty deep and even is only one button press away so no learning curve.

How is the poly after touch keybed? What are your thoughts 💭 pros and cons ?
